Not a great experience. The key place is nice but it was very slow, the food was either not available or came overcooked and some was burnt. Plus the prices were very high for the experience we got.If you want tgi Fridays go to another one.One final note, the lights flicker and the tables were dirty too

We visited Fridays recently and I can?t speak highly enough of all the staff we encountered. Everyone was extremely accommodating with nothing being too much. There was a little wait for food but with a nearly full restaurant this is exactly what we expected. Our wait was helped with a few too many delicious cocktails. We?ve visited more than a few Fridays in recent years and will definitely be taking a trip back.

Just been there tonight (27th December) and it was just not a very good experience really, although the server and I presume manager went out their way to apologise and sort the issues. Most of the issues were coming from the kitchen as the delay in food coming out was just ridiculous and we weren't the only ones waiting long (over an hour) for any sort of food as the table near us had the same issue. They said they were short staffed and I presume that was in the kitchen.They were polite and did apologise and went out their way to try and make things quicker but I'm not sure if I'd ever go back to a TGI Fridays after this experience because with kids it's difficult to be waiting this long and it generally seemed rather chaotic because of the wait times.Food was nice although prices.Good offers with the app

It's difficult to imagine a worse place to eat. I've been here twice for someone else's celebrations, and it is consistently dire.The dining room feels cramped, even though it isn't particularly. It's on two levels for no reason I can identify. Décor is a curious mix of film-related tat and a kayak (I think).The lower area of the dining room is 1/3 bar, with lots of room for the bar staff, even though there's only ever one person serving, and they spend most of the time looking into the kitchen, rather than across the bar to where the customers are. This often makes for a very slow drinks service.The staff are usually very friendly and polite.But the food is the worst of it. The only thing I've eaten here that wasn't absolutely awful was the fries. Everything else is totally terrible. I've yet to finish a meal here because the food is just so bad. Even something as straightforward as a hamburger is really badly done.And on top of all of that it is horrifically expensive, even if it was good here.I hope I never have to eat here again.

firstly, the place was too full, this ment that I had to wait over 30 minutes for a drink. Whatever, the starters took ages and came over cooked. How do you over cook mozzarella sticks? (Foreshadowing a rubbish chef). My infant nephew was given raw chicken. The final nail in the coffin, was a cold rack of ribs. Want my advice, go to the TGI in medowhall, it?s quieter and the service is better.

If I could give 0 starts I would. We booked a table for 18.30 table wasn't ready but that was understandable due to an event at Sheffield arena. How ever waiting an hour for starters and nearly 90 minutes for mains when we have 2 children with us is poor no communication from staff to say they would be a long wait we waited 90 minutes and ended walking out with eating. Very poor service wouldn't recommend.

Really would not recommend unless you have hours to spend!We booked in for dinner before going to watch a show at Sheffield arena. Waited 20 mins before anyone one came to take our drink order, then another 15 mins of trying to wave a staff member down to order food. We were told they were busy and food would take around 30 mins. 1 hour later we were still waiting for our starters after repeatedly asking staff (that seemed to be hiding from us) for an update. Eventually they came over with a couple of bowls of lukewarm chips and said it would be another 20 mins for starters. we told the staff to cancel the food as we were now too late and needed to set off to the arena. They came over with a £35 bill for drinks and made out they were doing us a favor by not charging us for meals that never turned up.I've always been a TGI fan but I don't think I will be going again after this experience sadly. We were late getting to the arena and and ended up having to get food on the way home and it put a real downer on the evening

Absolutely shocking would give no stars for this place if I could booked for my daughters 21st tonight and no main ingredients like chicken wings ,certain ribs etc no main ingredients in cocktails like baileys most of the cocktails have this in but no one told us this at bar until we questioned why it looked so different to picture then was told this waiting over an hour and half for our first dishes which was main dishes no singing to my daughter had to ask for her piece of free cake in which buy this time didn't want it my daughter on her 21st birthday celebration that will never get this again back was crying outside this restaurant on what was a horrible night out and would never be back my advice is don't go to celebrate anything here not Christmas or birthday etc go somewhere else it wasn't just us that complained eitherParking: The only good thing here

Absolutely pathetic and unacceptable.We booked a table for 9 several weeks in advance on a Saturday evening (7pm). Arrived 10 minutes before and was seated after a 10 minute wait, no problem.Then we sat at the table for almost an hour before anyone even came and asked if we wanted drinks. One of us had to ask if we could order!! After this we ordered food but was told there would be a 30 minute wait, no problem we thought. That was an absolute lie, it took another 70 minutes for the food to come and when it did 3 of the orders had things on that were ordered without (tomatoes, cheese, sauce etc) (this could be life threatening to some people with allergies!!), other orders were burnt, and one meal didn?t even arrive even after we told the staff 3 times!! Who just said "sorry about that" not "we will sort that for you" very odd??When we were able to eventually complain to a senior member of staff, all she said was "I don't know what I can do for you" so we told them we want free drinks and won?t be paying for our food.We then had to argue with them about getting our deposit back too!!DO NOT EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY WILL DISAPPOINT AT BEST!(But I doubt they'll be open much longer to be honest)Dietary restrictions: Don't go if you have any, they didn't get any of our orders right so could have been a problem for allergies.Parking: Parking will probably be great soon because the place will be closed. So just a free place to park.Kid-friendliness: Don't take kids they will be starving after visiting.

To be honest, I don?t know where to start with this review because I can?t believe, how badly this TGI has gone down the pan. As a member of staff who worked there for 17 years, it is a disgrace. I'm shocked to see how this store is now. The Chicken was dried and couldn't swallow it properly. I brought my wife to celebrate her birthday but she ended up being unhealthy. She has ended up vomiting all her food. We didn't enjoyed it at all.

Not a good experience. Waited 2 hours for our food. It wasn't great food. It had been stood along time and reheated. Which was very obvious. We had a spoilt birthday party for my mum. Ran out of loads of things including ribs and beer. Very badly managed and not at shift manager level. Avoid!!!!!!

So my partner booked this place for 5:00 pm on a Saturday, we arrived to be told our table was not ready yet and would have to wait 10 - 15 mins.... 30 minutes later, we were shown to our table, which had dirty cutlery on it, and the table was not clean either, so the table still wasn't ready anyway.We only had a main and a drink each and a side each, the total bill nearly came to £60!This place is not worth it, I could have stayed home and made the same dish for £10!Never again.

Would have been more then 3 stars however there's a few nags I have with this place. First of all the staff are made to work 8+ hour shifts without breaks. This is literally illegal TGIs???? We know this as we had two different staff members serve us and they was saying they were working shifts with no breaks etc, who I'm not going to name in case they get told off for this. The staff themselves were amazingly friendly despite this and couldn't do enough for us. The food was really nice and portion sizes were great, however since we last visited last year prices have shot up. Food was slow to come out, especially the mains. They also always seem to be out of stock of something. Last time it was steak, this time it was oreo and paper straws. Like what? Also the toilets looked like they'd not been cleaned or checked in weeks. Absolutely disgusting, toilet paper everywhere, water everywhere, some toilets blocked.
