I placed an order of Christmas presents, to be delivered to my local store for collection. I was a bit worried about doing this as I had Christmas presents go missing last year and it was a right palaver to sort a refund.I waited past my estimated delivery date and thought I would go into the shop to see if my parcel was there as I hadn't had a message to say it was there. When I got there I was ment to have 3 parcels but surprise surprise I only had 2 there. The manager told me to ring customer services, which I did while I was in the shop. They said it was missing but I had to wait till the 22nd December before I could ask for it to be resent or get a refund. This wouldn't leave me any time to reorder the main item in the parcel as obliterated certain places sell it. On the 22nd I called them back to be told there was nothing they could do, I had to call back the next day ,23rd December until they could do anything. I told them this wasn't the information I was told the first time and that I wanted it sorting that day. She said boots were saying everyone would have their parcel for the 23rd. I knew this wouldn't be the case. The customer service lady just kept over talking me and she put the phone down on me. The following day I went into the shop just to check it still hasn't arrived . They told me it wouldn't arrive because no ones dose, it always happens, loads of people were still missing orders, the same as last year. So I called customer service again who said they could see that the parcel hadn't reached the beach and he reordered it all for me. Obviously I'm not going to get it till the 29th though. The last gent I spoke to was really nice but come on boots..... your a big company who always has these troubles,your obviously doing something wrong. If bigger companies like Amazon can always get it right. I defiantly won't be using this service again and really wouldn't recommend it to anytime due to missing orders, hard to get through to customer services, given the wrong information by the first lady and then having to wait till day 8 before calling back to sort a reorder or refund ( refund takes upto 30days they told me). Lesson learnt,...... never order from boots again, especially at Christmas time.

Made an appointment for a flu jab. Was shown composition of serum to check for allergies, explained possible side effects and checked a few minutes afterwards that I was OK. Very thorough and put at ease all the way through, including covid precautions
