I always have a successful and satisfying trip to Dobbies. We are Plus members and we visit for our complimentary coffees every month, usually pick up a bargain on plants, browse the Waitrose for some treats for tea, and stock up on books and craft items for our children from The Works. The staff throughout the store are friendly and pleasant to deal with, offering advice on plant care where appropriate. My husband and I always leave happy with our visit. I can't recommend this place enough.

Wow, what a great place to visit with your dog!Welcoming, clean, tidy and well stocked. The staff are very polite, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble! We had an unplanned lunch stop, and we're very much surprised to how hot, tasty and visually well presented the food was, absolutely delicious ? and they have a section so you can dine with your four legged fur baby. Some of the local pubs should take note, definitely leaving you in their wake!

A great garden centre with a busy and appetising cafe/restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit if you need outdoor products or somewhere for a tasty treat. Busy at lunchtimes.

Visited the cafe today, ordered hot chocolate, tea and 2 scones. Tea absolutely flavourless, weak Luke warm hot chocolate. The scones were stale and hard, when we cut them open they had started to go off all round the edges. I showed them to an assistant and asked how long they had been out on the counter? She didn't know and said it was mixed batches.we left them uneaten, won't be going again and wouldn't recommend.very disappointed.

The garden centre itself seemed to lack stock, probably because of change of seasons. The cafe was busy and it took half an hour for our coffee to come. Coffee was really weak and not nice . Seemed understaffed. Had run out of some lunch items so we decided not to eat here . Overall it seemed run down and not as good as usual. Best thing in there was The Works .

Coffee shop was awful. Used our club discount for a free drink and still didn't get my monies worth. Took 20 minutes for our drinks arrived weak. They should be black, americarno weak, tasteless, and cold. Wouldn't complain but 2nd time poor service.

Went with my wife, son and daughter in law and 4 year old grandson for Breakfast with Santa, was very disappointed, the service and food was good BUT we were seated like sardines, all tables were cramped together and the waitresses were also having difficulty serving the food. Santa was not jolly and could not hear him he was very poor. Went last year and it was good but this year we did not feel comfortable at all, why put tables so close?
