We go to this premise regularly and have always found the food to be excellent, the hospitality to be second to non and the atmosphere to be warm friendly and the team extremely professional in dealing with customers in a busy fast turnaround environment and Saturday this week was no exception. The team were a credit to Mark and Anna?s vision for running a great Gastro pub.

Amazing steak and ale pie, with chips and loads of vegetables. Had a lovely corner nook which was perfect for a lunch get together with friends. Excellent range of ales.

Good family atmosphere with excellent hosts, keep a good pint of Timothy Taylors landlord.Parking: Strange carpark, which is always busy, there is a small piece of spare ground just along the road.Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair access, - if someone hasn't parked right in front of the front door because the carpark is full.

Meals were great and pub is a lovely place. However, being constantly reminded and hurried to order due to next booking at table just spoils what could be a nice and relaxing evening out.

Food is always brilliant. Mixed grill or peri peri chicken (hot is an understatement) are my recommendations. Suggest you book in advance.
