Vile manager Natalie her name was disgusting person and in need of replacing the store is a sham and fraudulent low attitude towards paying customer the way she spoke to me was rude unacceptable and frankly all out disrespectful never known such nonsense Argos should change it?s approach towards the paying customer.

Shocking customer service , i bought a laptop on Wednesday ,i opened it up Sunday i turned it on and the screen was flickering. The lady was suspicious because i connected it to my network first, which i do not understand why that is suspicious . She told me i should have brought back it straight away , but i work and do not drive , however i returned only 4 days later. I have to ring customer support so they can decide how it broke, i pointed out how can someone on the phone know whether for instance the computer was dropped and who dropped it. I mentioned this to the rude women that it may have been dropped at any time before i bought the item, she then tells me it would not brake this way if it was dropped, again i do not understand this logic. I don`t drive so i have to spend more money and time if i take it back again. I don`t understand why people choose jobs that involve dealing with customers when they are clearly not concerned with helping people and showing respect

I Went into argos today to exchange my mobile phone that was faulty. I was told because I had opened the box that they wouldn't exchange my PHONE I had a snotty manager go on at me till security came as I wouldn't move this argos is piss poor further more the girl manager is a total prick

Very disappointed with the customer service from this Argos store. I recently bought two nasal aspirators, one manual and one electric, for babies, immediately after the purchase we were advised not to use them. All said and done, today I went to return them, being surprised by the very cold and unprofessional behavior of the employee and manager of this Argos. The manager was very unprofessional and not listening to what I said, arguing that I cannot return the two products as if they were used, and showing that they are brand new, unused, only the box has been opened. So, I was sent home with two new, unused products thanks to a store manager who was tired and hated his job. Shame Argos Newcastle under Lyme

Do not go argos in Newcastle under Lyme just bn after waiting 20 mins as people pushing in staff ignoring me worst place and customer service iv ever had although I spend over 100 a year I won't be any more I assure u lost my custom.

Brought a phone which had to have a 10 pound top up. Phone was defected so took it back and was refunded. Code wasnt on recipt for top up the sooo professional dee said i served you so go to customer service i rang them and all they say is you have to sort it out instore. Customer service at its best.

Be aware if purchasing electrical goods. Even if you are not happy with the product within 30 days they will not refund you if seal is open. I wanted to return a computer which was way too slow and other buyers for this item have left similar reviews in regards to the slowness. I told the staff member this and they turned it on to test it. Obviously their opinion was different to mine which wasn't a surprise as many people have said how difficult Argos make returns. Everyone has different opinions which I respect. Anyway after saying that they thought it was fine I was then told they could not refund anyway because it had been opened. So not sure why the staff member didn't tell me that to start with as they didn't need to test as refund was going to be denied. I understand it if I was reporting a fault. So I will be using Very and Currys from now on. Much easier with these companies.

Very long queing times whilst staff seem to be hiding in the back. Also had to return an item which would not boost my wifi signal as described. They initially refused to take back because it had been opened and plugged in. Was told I had chosen the wrong product and it was my fault for not doing enough background research before purchasing. Eventually they agreed a refund but was very stressful and not the sort of customer service I expect from Argos. Will certainly not be going to this branch again! .

Nice clean store with helpful staff. Maybe make it less confusing for customers about where to que. While I was shopping there today there were quite a few people waiting but no clear line so people were jumping in front of others which caused a couple of customers to get annoyed.

Beware as the staff are deceitful & have no product knowledge.They basically sold me a phone that was the incorrect one, then 10 minutes later said I needed to buy ANOTHER EE top-up if I wanted a SIM FREE phone.Clue is in the title!! SIM FREE.Now i'm on hold too the complaints department.Why do I need 2 top ups. Yes the first phone stated it needed a top up as its an EE phone. the second phone is sim free. so why do I NEED too buy a top up again!!!!!Basically a store lacking in common sense and customer service skills.The manager on shift tonight, hasn't resolved the situation and left his team in the trenches. No apology either. Avoid incase of their mishaps. as they can't rectify their own mistakes. Muppets!
