When banks like hsbc try tell you that no you can not withdraw more than £1000 of your own hard earned money and only when you persist you have to explain yourself for a larger withdrawal.

None of the machines for paying cash in worked, no counter staff to process money into accounts either - like banks used to have. A bank that you cant put your money in! Pointless! Sort it out HSBC you absolute shambles

Used to be far better, used to be open on Saturdays too. Now it's closed on Saturdays which is no good for customers who work Monday to Friday. Even on the weekdays it has resorted to a meagre machine service and no counter service. Not all of us want to do impersonal banking via machines and online. Seriously thinking of switching banks.

This company are DISGRACEFUL. They keep customers waiting for ages,in queues with no seats or coffee etc like other banks. No masks worn by staff. Staff are totally out in the open with no protective screens. Not worth half a star

Ugly customer service and unprofessional employees. Do never go there, they complicate things and most of them are unaware. They just want you to leave. My daughter who is a student in UK went today to Barclays Bank and her first comment was: ?There a big difference between HSBC and Barclays?. If you are an individual not a business just don?t waste your time with HSBC!

Service was poor. After quite a long wait for the business queue I was told that they would not be able to help with any internet business banking and was fobbed off to the phone and computer and told the wrong section to call with a long wait time on the phone and eventually gave up and left. I will be moving banks.

Utterly useless. For the second year in a row now I've had to take a student status letter in to prove I am a student. They never bothered to correctly update the system the first time. Furthermore, the woman serving was unbearably slow. She had two tasks. Change my account back to student from graduate, and give me a new secure key. It took over an hour and she didn't even provide me with what I asked for, instead seemed to do what she wanted to my account. Fuming.
