Was actually waiting to leave a review once I had contacted and made official complaints about this company. But given the reviews I see here re the rudeness and unhelpfulness of staff, evidenced by their unprofessional and snarky replies I see on here to any form of criticism left, I do feel obligated to leave a review sooner rather than later for the purpose of others. Please be mindful before using them that the customer service isn?t great. I not only had issues trying to get my engagement ring properly resized, going off their advice and their own ring gauges, everytime I have had to speak to them to resolve the matter I have been met with rudeness and constant blame. I received a strange random patronising phone call from a man re:being pregnant, yet no courtesy phone calls prior to threatening to sell my ring via letter (with a week and a half notice) as there was a delay in pick up due to ill health. Tried to ask for their policy on retention periods before threatening to sell others property, only to be told there is none! Just whenever they deem it appropriate. Worrying. Company only seems to communicate via one off texts, except of course to make a strange random phonecall about being pregnant (first trimester, totally irrelevant to the matter at hand).the actual business concerns aside (despite 2 resizes that fit fine on their own ring gauge my ring still doesn?t fit, tried to explain maybe the gauge was off, was practically proved right re the issue when in store yet still dismissed) the company is rude and unpleasant to deal with it - will be raising further. Feel like I?ve wasted money. Hallmark stamp gone, none the wiser on the actual size of my ring and mixed messages about my rhodium plating.EDIT your response is actually quite inaccurate. My ring was a size M. Not an L. You seem to be continuously getting confused with a silver inherited ring I also sent in at the same time which you refused to work on. Unsure how to trust responses if the facts never seem to be right. I did try on a P ring of yours in Store you are right, and it didn?t fit me at all. However your P ring gauge was almost loose. It was totally inconsistent. This was the entire reason we were supposed to be ?checking? it after this next resize, otherwise why would we need to if it was a ?perfect fit?? I was never rude, asking for your policies and information about my ring I couldn?t seem get from any of your staff isn?t rude. The customer service of the reaction to these questions however, was.

Awful customer service rude ladies took my daughters ring for sizing and did it wrong then said it was because she's pregnant which yes was true but other rings fitted fine so knew it wasn't swollen fingers after a few months they sent it back not done properly and hallmark now gone will never use that jeweler again don't think they know what they talking about please avoid unless you want to have your ring ruined my daughter is 9 months pregnant and isn't soposed to get stressed but they were so rude to her she is very stressed over it I cannot respond yo your answer it's not rubbish we have the letter to prove you threatened to sell thr ring if not picked up by 31st this month your shop I'd a joke I by the looks of all the vsd reviews we are taking it further the hallmark is missing and not been plated I do not lie we have proof just at least be desent and admit when you're wrong I cannot answer to your review back it did happen we have the proof just admit when you in the wrong you only contacted once we have proof of that do you have proof that you contacted several times we are taking this further and reading yhe other reviews it clearly not very good

Please be mindful when you go for repairing.I've been waiting 2 weeks for a 14K chain to be repaired, and it came back with a 9k cap end replaced. NOT REPAIREDI've not been informed about the change, and they tried to fool me that in the UK you cannot find 14k gold.I've been waiting another 2 weeks to be done, and it came back broken with a different cap end... the weight is also lower than what it had before.Extremely disgusted of the serviceI will also complaint to OMBUDSMAN cause what they do to people is not fair.

We have experienced friendly and extremely helpful service from P.T. Miles Jewellers who are definitely a valuable local business to have around and support... we dealt with a few different staff who were all fantastic. They handled a repair request of our diamond wedding ring with a massive amount of care and respect. We were updated through the whole process and the costs were fair and explained in full. Thank you!

Compare gold scrap prices locally before selling jewelery here.I was given the impression that I would get more than scrap price for my old 9ct gold jewellery but was offered a very poor price per gram.When they made the offer I had to ask how much per gram they were actually paying.I was not impressed when I found out and by ringing around locally was able to find a dealer who was paying nearly £3 per gram more!Pleasant staff.
