These reviews don't reflect the experience I had with Asda Opticians at all. I went in store to book my appointment initially then called for anything else and always got through! Lovely, friendly staff, a great service and well, lets just say, I won't be going to Specsavers any more!! The prices are amazing, so affordable, my family were shocked how much I paid for 2 pairs of varifocals and they will be going there themselves from now on! Thank you Asda Opticians Stafford, one very happy customer here ?

This is the worst service I have experienced from a so called optician.Took 2 days to book an eye test over the phone, initially. Eventually got one booked, i asked if they would send a reminder via txt or call the day before to confirm the appointment, oh yes we do was the response, Oh no you don't.So I try calling from 8:45 am on the day of my appointment to confirm the time, they pick up the call at 9:10 am, your appointment is at 9:20am. I said well i will be about 5 minutes late as i have to get there, WE CANT SEE YOU IF YOU ARE NOT ON TIME. I replied i will be 5 minutes late and you are saying you won't see me? No to busy.!!!Now I have used ASDA opticians Walsall for several years and the service and customer care has been good, so this is not about ASDA but the service from start to finish at the STAFFORD store is well below satisfactory.My advice is save yourself some time, and stress and go elsewhere.

Poor customer call back...I left 2 messages for an optician to call back to arrange an eye test , someone eventually called back 2 days later . This put me off as it didnâ??t fill me with confidence in their service..sorry Asda. I never got to test out their true service, which is a shame as my mum had some glasses from there and was pleased with the value.

I've had a worst experience with Asda opticians. I have been regularly going there for my routine check ups for the past 3 years and their service was really appreciable and satisfactory. But not anymore, with a new optometrist who was really rude and full of attitude. I reckon someone needs to remind her that she is only a staff and she is there to present herself in a polite manner. No explanations about the test was delivered in a slow and polite way. I wasn't sure what was the hurry for??? If anyone is looking for a clear explanation for your eye tests, forget it. Just check on google for the medical terms. I did take my time to think about posting here but again thought my feedback would help Asda to refresh their customer service training schedules.
