Purchased a Samsung smart watch to replace my old one which is quiet small now, and due to eye sight i stuggle to read without put my glasses on.The new one has a bigger screen, so ideal, i thought. I payed over £300 for it, took it out of the box and turned it on. I could see the screen still wasnt going to be suitable so turned it off, and put it back in the box and took it back for a refund as not suitable - Refund refused as box had been opened and the item had been used (i.e turned on) - So now stuck with another watch i cant see. Needless to say, this was never explained at the time of purchase - Argos just lost a customer (which they wont care about), but it's my mini protest to them

Manager stevie is absolutely useless. Would not let me return my broken tv yet i had an authorisation code from toshiba to return it as well as a letter from them with proof. Sent me back home to call toshiba. I did and they told me go back, manager refused to talk to me and toshiba then she got someone else deal with the situation. Toshiba told them on the phone they should have it back, they still refused. They dont even know their own policies. I took it to the one in festival park, they accepted it straight away, as they should. Seriously poor customer service with a manager who dont even know how to do her job properly if she dont know the policies. I even called argos customer service who said she is supposed to take the broken tv back. WILL NEVER BOTHER WITH THAT STORE AGAIN.

I'm not very happy customers came in to store get what I needed and go to the till for pay for the items but not very happy why need to check the money see if its the right money of which it was all ready and plus no need to check it agian worst shopping in there argos longton I wont be shopping in there agian not after what happened today and people do not take any change in argos because they will check it see if you got the right money to buy what you wanted to get ????

Wow!!! What lovely staff!!!Called in today with my wife to collect a Bing scooter for our grandson.On entering the store we were approached by two, lovely helpful ladies who were so helpful and friendly. Even the lady on the counter had a little witty quip as we collected the scooter!!How nice to visit a store and come out feeling it was a pleasure to go in!!Thank you all!!Argos Longton will be our permanent store for click and collect!!!

Terrible customer service. The manager didn?t want to help. They made me call customer service for help. The manager wouldn?t not return an item that did not meet my expectations. They refused to return the item. Went to another Argos store and they returned it straight away. The customer service needs to be worked on and further training needs to be done on the staff to meet the customer expectations. Learned a lesson and that is to stick with Amazon instead.

Absolutely disgusting service, each member of staff looked very uninterested didn't offer any help whatsoever and then to make things worse refused to refund me.

I called down here with my partners argos card to return a faulty item. The lady who served me refused to give me the card back or a refund and said my partner needed to come down and sort it.I got back home and spoke to customer service who advised me to go and retrieve the card back as I was allowed to collect and return items on behalf of the card holder but a signature would be required. She was obviously having a bad day, either that or just gets a kick out of making your shopping experience as awkward as possible. My partner went down and asked to see the policy that states only the argos card holder can collect and return items, oh guess what there isn't one. We returned the item and didn't bother with an exchange which is what we would of done. Argos you really need to ensure your staff are aware of your policies and procedures regarding collection and returns for argos card holders. We will now be avoiding making any future purchases here or at any other stores for that matter, as if it was inconvenient enough the fact we had purchased a faulty product.
