Entered the empty store. One customer was being served. There were at least 5 workers. One serving and two standing around. No one would make eye contact with me or my mother who was looking to purchase a phone. The blatant racism in this establishment is appalling. A white couple entered with their child and was immediately attended to, While we stood waiting for someone to even acknowledge that we were there and YES they did see us enter and stand at the front desk. I will never patronise this establishment again. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If I could give 0 stars I would. Currys please train your staff.

Fast, courteous service, price matched Amazon for the item I wanted and collected in store for free a couple of days later.

I visited this branch today and I was advised by Mark. His advice was clearly communicated and tailored to my needs. He made the jargon easy to understand and although the model that was right for me was not available in store he helped me to order it on the website. I would not have expected this as I figured the staff would be trying to meet branch targets. As a result I left the store with confidence in my purchase and peace of mind. Although this is not my first visit to Currys it is the first time I felt confident enough purchase so I wanted to write this review to make sure Mark gets his due credit!

Currys for me is a difficult review, they all look the same, same layout in every store, same uniform, same greet at the door! But recently I've found the staff to be more helpful than normal, not sure if the training internally for the community has changed but using 'Creation' has helped me stealthy but presents for my wife and the staff explained how this worked very efficiently. Good amount of staff too, not too in your face. Keep up the good work?????????

Just went for a look around the Currys store at Longton as we were in the area, but came out with a fancy hairdryer and a new Kindle.Salesmen were excellent, very pleasant but not pushy.Store is well laid out and spacious, lots of items to try out. It is situated on a weird little retail estate, but stands out well. Plenty of free parking.A couple of days later I noticed that Amazon had reduced the Kindle I bought by just over £30, so I rang the Currys store and they instantly refunded the same amount to my payment card. Very impressed.

I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered something in store, part of which wasn't available. Been waiting for 4 weeks for it to come in. Twice promised it would be in the 'following week'. Then told the store manager was 'personally' going to fetch one from the Festival Park store. That was a week ago. No contact, no update, nothing. Customer Services are useless. You can't speak to the Store. Webchat wont help as it's not an on-line order. The most difficult company to deal with. Ended up having to request a refund....didn't even get an apology!

If this could have been a Zero Star rating it would be.We are in a situation where Major High Street Stores are closing you would think that companies and management would be drumming into to there staff that customer service is key and try to do as much as possible for everyone you speak to.This is how my visit went.I walked into the store, I was approached nor was I greeted when I walked in the store. I approached the washer machine section and spent about 15 minutes looking around different appliances and reading about each one and the differences.NOT A STAFF MEMEBER IN SITE WILLING TO HELP. So we continued to walk around lookingFINALLY someone did walk near us and I had to flag them down for help to buy a £500 appliance. When I asked for a Haier washer machine the responses was ?never heard of it, How do you spell it??? (this is a popular brand that curry's sell a lot off)When the person looked on the tablet and saw that they had no stock they just lost interest and didn?t seem to want to help us at all after that.We were in that store for about 25 minutes in total. We eventually drove to another shop and brought the appliance else where.

absolutely useless went for a gas cooker was going to spend 600 quid but yo be told the one we want/ wanted was not in any stores and the wait was 3 weeks totally outrageous

Looked online. Saw what was available, ordered it and collected. Good service.Staff greeted us at door and product appeared like magic. They then helped us to place it in the car.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND GO STRAIGHT TO FESTIVAL PARKWorst customer service and will leave you out of pocket at not fault of your own and unable to pay the loan !After going Currys at festival park (excellent customer service!) We were sold on a hoover but unfortunately they did not have it in stock , so checked on line and this Currys up the road didSo on arrival it was obvious the didn't know anything about hoovers but doesn't matter as festival park all ready sold us on this one . So went to the desk where the women did 3 credit searches on us cause she kept closing them down !We were using 4x love to shop vouchers , so cause we weren't at the till she would need to put it on a curry card , which was fine . When she come back she said I can only put 3 of them on a Currys card but I voided it so it will take up to 48 hours to show back on account but if not come back in store , so to purchase this hoover we would have to use cash ! Which annoyed me as I saw the vouchers as a saving Instead I at to folk out the money instead of making a saving !Then we walked out and realised we do not have a clue how to pay the 6 months interest free loan , the guy at the front said we would get an email , which we did , but when tried to log in , the women has set it up with wrong details ! And we are unable to access the account .Called customer service and they said they can not do anything and will tell the staff but no one from complaint will talk to me or call me back !So we come a way with a hoover that cost us more money , £30 less on voucher we have not used and a loan we can not access or pay off ! And no one will help us !!!!!!AVOID , AVOID, AVOID

My laptop was dropped over a week ago to a staff member called Ben, they should have check the status of the device and let me know by the end of the day or the next day.After a week of waiting and asking for updated all I get is they do not know anything, I need to wait.A week later, which is today, I went to pick it up, but, no one was at the till. As always, I had to wait for 45 minutes for someone to come, at some point, bored of life by the look on his face, Stephen, the store manager, comes and says the same thing I hear over the phone, we dont know what to say because no one made notes.So, literally, the device stays in the store for over a week, no one looks at it and me, as a customer who pays £6.99 every month for their services get nothing.THIS IS THE MOST LAIM, UNPROFESSIONAL, POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
