“I have to say this is the best Travelodge we have stayed in. The staff were fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. The shower was powerful, hot and clean. All the carpets were being cleaned on arrival, so the whole place smelt very nice. Plenty of parking and a greggs and subway a stone's throw away. I would definitely recommend staying here.Rooms: Very clean a large family rooms.Nearby activities: Greggs and Starbucks on site.Safety: Large heavy locked doors. Access to accommodation hallways were via a key fob.Food & drinks: Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, with top ups available by putting a card on the door handle.”

“Stayed in a plus room , was excellent to have the fridge and iron , however arriving late rushing to change for a night out the extra we paid for the plus room was unfortunately a bit wasted as booked for two adults and only one towel, so as a couple getting ready hurriedly for a night out we had to share- not ideal.”

“Absolutely stunning food and service by a girl who has long blond hair . The food was exceptional and tasted so lovely. The only thing I felt bad about was that they couldn't take tip on card as they would be taxed and I didn't have any cash so I felt terrible as she deserves a big tip!Nearby activities: Right next to Alton towers”

“Night away with the girls. Have stayed here many times for business but really enjoy the hotel and location. Staff are always friendly. Nice bar area, while this hotel could do with a make over in general its always clean and welcoming. The staff make the place. Plenty to do in the area, on site restaurant and plenty of eateries if your there for a few days.”

“Clean rooms, however could do with updating.Slept well as it was fairly quiet through the night, road behind starts to get busy early morning.Walkability: Shops, pubs/restaurants in walking distance.”

“My 10 year old son and I had to live in this hotel due to an unfortunate private rental housing issue (bad landlord, poor and dangerous state of rented property)We were sent to a different hotel at first but it was completely horrendous and inappropriate so were relocated here and immediately, as soon as we walked through the door at around 8pm we were made to feel welcome & comfortable which was extremely important to me considering the situation we were in and the previous hotel we'd come from!We were given the key and shown to the room. The staff couldn't do enough for us!The room was lovely and clean, with all of the amenities you'd want! (All of which were absent in the first hotel we stayed in) the ensuite bathroom/shower was an impressive size ! & was again, lovely and clean! very well lit with help from the large mirror which had bulbs all around it.There's lifts that actually work! to help those who can't manage the stairs or just as a safety aspect for carrying your luggage.There's 24 hour reception assistance and there's also an in-house restaurant serving breakfast and dinner and there's a separate room which I believe serves alcohol (I didn't use this room so I'm not entirely sure)The hotel is directly opposite Stoke train station and you're in close proximity to many of the Cities towns, so it's in a really good location for 'getting around' .. the University is just around the corner, literally the next street.. and the college is also nearby!We were here for approximately 6 weeks and the service never wavered!Really happy.Rooms: Please see aboveSafety: Please see aboveFood & drinks: Please see above.. in house restaurant.”

“Came here as part of a bus trip, the hotel was very comfortable and it was a very pleasant atmosphere while having drinks at the bar.The evening meal was adequate but lacked taste but the breakfast was excellent”
