I've only rated SCS 1 star because I can't leave 0.
Went in to buy a sofa labelled take home today. After managing to get hold of the rudest, most unhelpful member of staff that they had, we were told that everything was a 6 week wait. We explained that it said take home today and she said 'oh ok then let me just have a look'. Then she decided that 'Jamie' had probably sold it the week before but not bothered to put sold on it. No sorry, no explanation, just 'its sold' and off she walked.
SCS might be cheap, but it seems you do get what you pay for, and customer service isn't it.

Excellent , efficient service from ordering my furniture to delivery, Scs ,Fenton, Stoke on trent ,also came out to my house within a week to put a coffee table together . Well done Scs, would definitely recommend. Thankyou

we are utterly outraged and disgusted…
we are utterly outraged and disgusted and terribly upset by the way we have been treated by this company. we ordered a carpet which was priced up at store on coming to estimate the carpet we were told it would be an extra £450 as the person in the shop had got it wrong. after sorting this we were charged extra and extra for fitting. we were then promised that on the 6th of june the carpets would be fitted myself and my wife took the day off work and were told fitter would arrive between 12 and 1 we waited and recieved a call from a fitter named mark platt whom spoke to us in a rude aggressive abrupt manner stating he only had vinyl as carpet had not arrived he either fitted thst today or we get nothing at all as he refused profusely to come back to do the rest we obviously stated we needed the whole lot doing today as promised his response was well ill take it back to store and im doing nothing for you then both mysrlf and my wife were terribly distreesed by the way he dealt and spoke with us and are still utterly shocked now. we then rung stoke scs who said hes there only fitter and nothing they can do. we have now been informed the carpet will not be getting fitted until friday causing myself and my wife 2 days off work loss of earnings and a day entirely filled with fear stress and alarm we're both disgusted at the way we have been treated and are awiting a call from Oldham regional manager. we do not believe we should pay for the carpet fitting after all this and think that you should undoubtedly be compensating us for the stress loss of earnings and abuse we have had to endour. we spoke with a woman named chloe at oldham scs whom will clarify all of this mark platt also spoke to her within this manner. she helped us to her ability and was the only person who did so. we will be contacting the ombudsman regarding this matter.

Sales personnel very attentive and explained everything well. Very happy with experience.

I ordered dining table, 6 chairs and a console table. All but 2 chairs were damaged on arrival. This is 5 weeks ago and I am no clearer on resolution. Stay way would be my advice.
