Food and service was pretty good. Staff were pretty friendly and couldn't be more helpful.Vegetarian options: I had a vegetarian Sunday roast which was a Mediterranean Vegetable Tart plus the standard veg and gravyParking: Small car park. If it was busier it would be more difficult to park

WELCOME! Set in the beautiful Cheshire Countryside The Rising Sun is a traditional country pub known for it's Open Fires, Great Food, Cask Ales, Selection of over 30 Gins and of course our amazing friendly team. Popular with locals and visitors from all over the world with it's location on the Gritstone Trail and Macclesfield Canal it is a must stop for both walking groups and holiday boaters with Heritage Narrow Boat Marina nearby. With lot's of interesting places to visit nearby, such as Mow Cop Castle, Rode Hall Framers Market , Little Morton Hall, or the refurbished Old Kent Green Methodist Chapel with it's amazing crafts and furnishings produced by Semper Hopkins Upholstery, to name but a few.
