I have used the pharmacy in asda several times just to purchase over the counter products. The staff here are knowledgeable and have always recommended a suitable product for my needs. The prices is here are competitive with other local pharmacies.

Run by idiots, don?t know what they?re talking about and only do the job for a power trip. They take your money and then DENY you healthcare. Absolute joke needs tearing down and the people in it made redundant. No idea what gives them the thought processes behind their decisions.UPDATE: They can?t even answer the phone so don?t put too much pressure on them, they struggle with basic tasks?

The pharmacist here is always so rude. He does his best to ignore you but when he does serve you you are made to feel stupid and most times he won't give you what you have asked for saying they have run out. The lovely lady who helped me this morning should be in charge. She asked appropriate questions and even though there was people behind me she did not rush to get me out the way. She was polite and very good at her job. If I see the male pharmacist is on I go elsewhere.

Very rude pharmacist. 3.55pm would not serve and insisted that he was closed. No explanation given.

Just had a really bad experience with the Asda Pharmacy in Tamworth. My wife phoned the Peel Medical practice around half 9 in the morning for a prescription for my Son who has chicken pox. I didn't go straight away as its always best to wait so it gets there in time. I arrive around 1pm to be told that the Pharmacist is out for lunch and medicines cant be dispensed without his presence.Ok not heard that before but okay ill pop back. Its not worth going home to just come back so I waited in my car. I let 50 minutes pass to be polite and make sure he is back.I pop back to the counter where the pharmacist has returned but then immediately goes into the private room on a phone call leaving the assistant not being able to find the prescription as she needs his assistance. I understand the need to take calls but if this was a work call take it on the shop floor, if it was a private call you've just had a lunch break when you could have made or taken it.15 minutes go by with the assistant seemingly going through trays randomly trying to find the prescription. The pharmacist then appears from the private room does not acknowledge me at all and speaks to the customers behind me who have also had to wait whilst he finished his call.At this point I'm not particularly happy with the service I have received (that's me being polite) I am then told by the assistant that the item isn't there and needed to be ordered so will be ready by later that day or tomorrow morning..............You mean you couldn't have told me that at the start so I could have gone home and looked after my Son whos not well? Even if you couldn't dispense the item because of some ancient pharmacist code that only they have the power to literally hand me a paper bag with the cream in it you could have checked it was actually there and save the now over an hour wait.Awful service. I will do everything I can never to use them again.

Pharmacist staff go out of their way to help, many times the doctor's have mixed up the prescription and the pharmacy team has always helped me out to sort the error.
