Travelodge Burton Mills offers a pleasant stay with its accommodating staff who are attentive and friendly. The hotel's location near a forest provides a serene atmosphere, perfect for nature enthusiasts or those seeking a peaceful retreat.

Where do I begin, the staff member was about the only highlight on this stay. Room smelt of wet dog, leaving windows open is not a suitable way of removing the odour, use some shake and vac or something designed for removing odours. There was no hot running water in the evening so I couldn't have a hot shower. Dog in a room nearby by started yapping at 4am, and at about 5:15am somewhere outside a 2.9kHz whine started making it sound like I had constant tinnitus. Because the windows don't close fully there was no way to completely block out the noise. Seriously I can't understate how bad this was as you can't ignore it or block it out and Travelodge should find out what was making that whine. Noticed, when I could have a hot shower in the morning, there is a lot of rust around the bath taps and drain.Rooms: Room smelt of wet dog

First off the staff are nice and friendly BUT the room we were in as you can see by the pictures wasn't great, the bed was falling apart, stains on the carpet, torn quilt cover and one of the smallest TVs I've seen in a hotel.I didn't take a pic but there was pretty much a lake outside where the carpark should be. Drains blocked.Location isn't great but did us we were only 12 mins away from were we needed to go.Having said that if you want a Greggs or burger king they are handy. All in all poor show from Travelodge the place is in desperate need of an up grade and I should probably try and claim my money back.

Travelled down to adopt a dog, called to see him initially and collected him the following day.Rooms: Plenty of room, very clean and quiet.Food & drinks: There was a Burger King and a Greggs, that did breakfast items, on site along with a very well supplied petrol station with food (Subway) coffee etc. and Mildenhall and Barton Mill were a few minutes away.

Do not buy the WiFi, it becomes unusable at night time. Reception desk will advise that you don?t pay for it either, virgin wifi helpline are useless. Gotta ask at reception for fresh towels and toilet rolls. Noise from the car park is bad as all the recovery drivers park there for a break and unload the cars and load it onto other loaders, presumably for a relay or something.. I?d only stay here if I had to, and I wouldn?t be paying more than £30 for the night.

Average Travelodge, staff are friendly. They do not clean your rooms everyday unless you ask which I had to find out on my 3rd day. Greggs & Five Guys within walking distance.Rooms: Clean and tidyNearby activities: Five Guys close by

A very VERY basic hotel! The rooms are getting extremely tired and grubby and the furniture racing the end of its useful life. There is no food available. The mattress on my bed was completely concave. The extractor fan in the bathroom was filthy and the shower controls had an extremely sharp piece of metal attached. It's very cheap, but for a reason. It was adequate for a single night...
