A treasure of a place. I have enjoyed several times and found the service and food exceptional. It has a unique atmosphere that offers a quirky English feel. Cakes, sandwiches and scones in abundance plus special, it's hard to choose. And of course this is a proper tea toom with a great choice of teas and drinks available This is a very highly recommended destination

What a fantastic hidden gem !! Such a quirky little cafe/tea room. All the food is freshly made and delicious. We had the savoury tea, a massive cheese scone with cheddar and cream cheese with chutney ! And a huge cafetiere, which gave us 3 cups of coffee each !! They also do an amazing afternoon tea.and the cakes are to die for !!

This is a gem of a place . The Old Bank is quirky and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting .The food is home cooked right there on the premises and there's lots of choice in flavours it's is delicious .The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your treat..a treat ! Love it ?

Our visit to The Old Bank Tearoom in Bungay was a real treat. A traditional afternoon tea, really pleasent people and unique surroundings. So much choice, I really liked the savory selection. My first visit to Bungay; Such a pretty town with loads of shops to explore; My wife and I have already planned a re-visit.

I was recommended by a family friend and I couldn?t have picked a better place myself. We hosted an afternoon tea for my best friend?s baby shower and from the first phone call, Charlotte and the staff were friendly, warm, attentive and beyond helpful. The venue is eclectic and beautiful with something to look at in every corner. Our table was elegant and we were kindly given exclusive use of the main space. The food was exceptional and bountiful. I?m not sure I have ever seen so many cakes and scones. Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff even organised for us to pack up the leftovers so nothing delicious went to waste. The staff were incredibly attentive to our table and yet also discreet. They helped me hang decorations and catered to allergens with zero issue. Every guest commented on the great food and service. I would not hesitate to book any future events here. Just a wonderful venue with really wonderful staff! Thank you.

Fun place for all day refreshment. Good pots of tea, fresh sandwiches, indulgent bakes and cakes all in a whimsically decorated banking hall of yesteryear. Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel hit the spot.

Have been meaning the visit the The Old Bank Bungay since moving to Norfolk last year.Called in for tea yesterday and what a great experience - excellent service, really fresh sandwiches (with the crusts trimmed!) and the tea was great.Well worth the visit if passing Bungay UKIt's only a small tea room but very accommodating.

We stopped for lunch and what a great choice of a cafe it was! Home made quiche was absolutely delicious and the goats cheese salad with smoked salmon was certainly one of the best salads I've ever had! Top marks for everything!
