We enjoyed a drink & snack inside a proper pub. We look forward to our next visit.Parking: Space for a few vehicles, but a municipal car park just up the road.

We went to this pub on Saturday 20th August. As soon as l walked in the bar this chap said, excuse me but you look so much like Kate Bush. I've been used to this for years. Even going to a friend's party l was told l looked like KB. We proceeded to go into the garden to have our drinks. We enjoyed it but there could have been more privately as people were very drunk & very loud. At least we've been there now.We went on to our 2nd pub of the night.

Popped in for a cheeky pint with The Mrs...stayed for another couple. The bar is compact and bijou and you may have to wait your turn if it's a busy night...there is a pool table...there are regulars in there having a laugh and enjoying themselves. With everything in life, you get out what you put in, we had a laugh and were welcomed warmly..we had a great timeIn short it's a proper little pub...a local boozer...the likes of which you don't see very often these days.

Nice enough pub, with a small beer garden. Think we might of caught the staff behind the bar on a off day as there wasn't much happiness going on.

The outdoor garden with tables was nice in good shade for such a hot day (27deg C), but it would have been better had the smokers not left their dogends scattered around the tables. There was no food, apart from the crisps and the like, which was a pity as we had heard that the food was excellent (maybe pre Covid?)The bar tender was pleasant but very slow

One of the best pubs on the planet. An honest to goodness boozer that only sells drink. If you're looking for fancy grub, then this isn't the place (crisps and nuts are available) but if it's beer and good cheer then step on in. update 07/22 ; Still great, if not better.
