This was the first time we visited côte and it was lovely. We will certainly visit again. The dishes are beautifully presented and tasty! It was a shame that the tartiflette was not on the menu. I was looking forward to

My favourite place to eat in Bury St Edmunds ??

Beautiful mirrored setting along a charming pedestrian street in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. Food was seasoned perfectly and presented well. Steak for 2 was plenty. The gratin potatoes were a favorite!Dietary restrictions: Upon being seated, we were asked if anyone in our party has allergies. They communicated to the chef the coconut allergy at our table and it was obvious kitchen staff were made aware as the meal came out with special teal flags.

Good food and atmosphere, but very busy, so service was a bit distracted.

No boneless chicken left on the menu. Sloppy skin on my fish, not

Always a decent steak? but the winner is always the French Onion Soup for starter!Sat in the middle of the restaurant to begin with which was too open? but we moved to the side at the front which was much better!

Visited on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was packed, which generally is a good sign.My first visit to a Cote and I didn't know they were a chain restaurant. However despite my trepidation I was really impressed by the food. I had calamari to start which had a nice light batter and wasn't rubbery at all. Then duck for main which fell off the bone, delicious. Portion size and prices were reasonable. Our waitress could have been a tad more attentive as we had to constantly ask to be served.I would visit again and recommend.

We had a really nice meal here. It was very busy, which is a very good sign. I went for the mushroom bourguignon and a cheese soufflé. I was really impressed . Great veggie option. We would definitely come back.

Me and my partner came here for a date day and we were served by Raquel who was very accommodating and friendly and made sure everything was good for us. We had the cheese croques and cheese soufflé for starters which were delicious and the mushroom bourginion and beef bourguinion and triple cooked truffle chips which were all lovely. Had a few cocktails and glasses of wine which were all lovely. Busy day for all staff it seemed and all very accommodating and happy to help. Thankyou

A valentine's meal for myself and my partner, booked at Cote as we like the chain and Bury is a place that we enjoy visiting. Having travelled extensively for business in France since the 70's and being a lover of real French cuisine, Cote is probably the best reasonably priced and nearly authentic chain of brasserie style restaurant available this side of the channel, without visiting vastly over priced London places. We have never had a bad experience, service or bad food at any Cote Brasserie over many years. One 'complaint' is that the music should be more French bistro style rather than modern pop, a bit of Grappelli or Piaf would have gone down as well as the wine did.
