Amazon parcel sent by Royal mail for collection Saturday, 15 May. RM tried to deliver at 16:28 but failed (post office closed 12 noon). I returned Monday 17 May with ID and a document showing the tracking number (TN). The male staff said I needed a 'packing' number and wouldn't release the parcel. I went home, examined Amazon documents but couldn't find a 'packing' number. I therefore returned to the PO, advised him I couldn't find a 'packing' number and again showed him the document containing the TN. He said it was for me to give him the TN and not for him to read it from the document. He showed me a card on which was written the TN and told me to sign it (which I did) and showed him my ID, after which he released the parcel. He then said I was not to show him a bad face. I picked up my parcel and ID and left vowing not to return. Never have I met such an obnoxious and disrespectful member of staff in a public service environment!!

Queued outside the shop for over 20 mins, and once I was served I was told I had to pay for my FREE return parcel. I went to Asda to send off my parcel and there was no issue at all. Very rude service, I will not be coming here again.

Been using this post office for the last 4 months, was told today he would refuse to serve me as I did not have any £1 or 5p stamps so I used 1st Class small and 2p and 1p, the customer care is unbelievable rubbish, will not go back.

Went today and the guy behind the desk was very rude!Will never step foot in that shop again, I highly reccomend to everyone to not bother and walk a little further to the asda or another convenience store where you will get a better customer service

My wife attended to return a parcel to Next. She was informed via the return notice that the postage label can be printed in the store. Having attended she was rudely and abruptly told that ?we don?t do that here? and was told to leave and send it from elsewhere. I feel this gentlemen will one day upset the wrong person on the wrong day. It?s nice to be nice especially in a front facing service such as the post office. Some polite advice as to the best place to print a package label would have been the least he could of done.

I was over charged for some stamps on my debit card...I asked for a refund but was told that the post office does not allow refunds on debit cards???? I asked many times for my money back but was refused. In the end I had to resort to trying to sell books of excess stamps to people in the queue!!I try to not use this business unless I can possibly help it.

You held my item for 5 days and returned it on the 6th. When questioned why did you do that, you mentioned lack of space rudely. You could have send my item back to the Bury St Edmunds Post Office however you chose to return it to sender.Those were winter coats for my children which they have waited for sometime to arrive. You are rude in handling my queries and very wicked to return my item to sender when you have the option to send it to the local bury postal office where I could have the chance to collect my item.If you hate dealing with people why do you run a postal service business and make everyone's life miserable like yours??For everyone out there, DO NOT DROP YOUR ITEMS to this post office. It is not worth the hassle!
