I recently bought two iPads at the Ipswich store, and additional memory add-ons.The store transferred all stored material?s and photos on the day (Thankyou Kevin!!) from our old ones, and his personal service and attention to detail was excellent.Very satisfied indeed.Will shop there again!Thankyou

Big car park. Lots of spaces walked into the shop. Lots of Christmas decorations. Beautiful layout. Lovely shop. Thoroughly enjoyed looking around. They've got everything dishwashers cookers washing machines Christmas tremens baby stuff blankets towels, bed clothes ,Christmas trees , chocolates ,books, toys, it's got everything in it , such a beautiful shop. It Has an upstairs, has a lift, right next to Waitrose and a cafe. What more could you want for a day out shopping?

As expected the customer service at John Lewis is always fantastic and the prices of the electrical items I was looking at were much more competitive than I was expecting.The staff in the electronics department were really knowledgeable and helpful. I also liked that there is never any pushy sales tactics that is often frustrating.The only reason why the store didn?t get five stars is because the items I wanted weren?t in stock so, although I could get them delivered, it was a long way to go to not be able to purchase the item I wanted.

Exceptional customer service from John Lewis.Not wanting to have to travel to Ipswich I bought a TV online from John Lewis, however I did have a problem with it once I'd set it up.While having to go into Ipswich for a car service, I called into John Lewis on the off-chance they were maybe able to help me, instead of having to use online AI chatbots, much preferring the direct human approach.Looking for someone to speak to, a young man, Matt S asked if I needed any help, yes, I replied, and explained the situation to him. He soon understood the problem and suggested I take the TV into the store, so he could help me.This I dully did, and I have to say Matt S is the epitome of outstanding customer service, he empathized, took ownership, and found a solution to the problem. Coupled with his good technical knowledge, he was able to give me a number of acceptable swap options.I have to say I was half expecting to hear 'computer says no', or 'sorry we can't help', but no, Matt S had a positive, can do attitude.Thank you, Matt S and John Lewis.

Popped into JL to view baby cot-bed mattresses a member of staff asked if okay when asking questions the member of staff was blunt and had no idea what she was talking about or what we were asking/ looking for! Off to Mamas and papas for some expert advice!! :-)

I reserved a camera from this company and traveled 3 hours to pick it up, only to be told that it wasn't there. Two days later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called them and was told that my reservation had expired. I had been waiting 2 months for this camera to come in, and now I have to start the waiting process all over again.This company is a joke. They told me one thing and then did another. I'm never shopping with them again

On 9 June we bought a Bosch Induction Hob from a very knowledgeable and helpful Partner who gave good advice, and researched the item thoroughly for us to make sure it will fit the existing space. Unfortunately I didn't make a note of his name; on our receipt is 'Asst IW2018' which I hope will help identify him! So of course we bought from JL rather than anywhere else.Ian Crane IP1 3RL

Couldn't recommend John Lewis Ipswich and its staff more highly.On Mothers day I took my daughter's MacBook that we purchased in store as it was locking her out. I spoke with a tech guy in store called Kevin who could not have been more friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. In no time he had us back in and even updated our settings for us, he was so patient and a real credit to JLP. This is where JL are strong, they employ lovely patient staff who are happy to help, I would not consider buying any large purchase from anyone else. No problem is ever too small and I cannot thank Kevin enough for all his help.

Great store, just a shame there aren't more locally. Online orders with a pick up from Waitrose is handy though

This is a very well appointed store. I returned a purchase (a faux fur throw) which was brilliant, but the colour just didn't look right at home. It was no drama at all, service with a smile.Colour matching seems to be difficult in many stores. The lighting can affect the colour, which is as difficult looking at products on websites.JLP customer service is superb, and this is one of the few places I am happy to spend time wandering around as there is so much to look at.

Nice store on a retail park with plenty of parking. Cafe & toilets.Very good electrical department and all stall in every department very knowledgeable about goods.

Was disappointed with the food we ordered; I ordered the southern fried chicken burger with onion rings - no where did it state that in the bun along with the chicken would be mayonnaise and BBQ sauce, I dislike both which spoilt my burger (and tomato & lettuce, but these are easily removed). What if someone has an allergy?My husband's macaroni cheese with crouton crumble consisted of 6 croutons. Left us wondering if meal was good value.

Super helpful staff, well organized shop. Sale prices on bed linen aren't entirely obvious, had a nasty surprise at the till.
