Prices have been ramped up! Why? Because of articles about inflation in the papers? In many cases your books are MORE expensive than they are on the internet. Oxfam - I heard you discussing how you made £32m in revenue from books last year - £5m about your target. The greed you suffer from is nothing but indefensible.

The only second hand bookshop I could find in Ipswich. Nice collection of books mostly in good condition. Price cheap mostly. I love going through their collection whenever I have some time. Bought some great old comics and novels from here.

Great place for second hand books plus a brilliant place to volunteer. Friendly people work and volunteer there. Have an afternoon to spare?

Fabulous selection of books in and out of print, for a good price not car boot prices, but cheaper than Amazon! I go in mainly for non-fiction books Scientific, Academic, Business and Psychology primarily and that's only a few bookshelves. The store goes right back, and is a veritable haven (the peace when you shut the door is palpable). So for an escape from the hubbub of town foot-traffic, a very civilized browse, and a pleasing bargain to take away (and the tellers always seem friendly and helpful) this is a good place to stop. Oh, and of course you're doing your 'charitable bit' as well! Almost forgot that.
