I just had to leave a comment because that's how disgusted I was after visiting the smiths store Ipswich.There was a lady who was trained on the baby section , she was attending to a customer so I patiently waited around, she could obviously see me as I was standing close by. Another kind staff member asked if I needed help but when I said I needed help with the baby stuff she couldn't help as she wasn't trained although she still tried to help. She politely told the lady who was trained to let her know that I was waiting , she told her colleague no that she will not help me. I understand if she said something like "tell the customer il he with her shortly " but instead she just said no. Now I hate to be those kind of people who use the race card but it definitely felt that way , she was very rude and gave me dirty looks. I even had to complain to the manager in the store but unforgettable seemed a bit clueless himself and almost scared of that lady , so he didn't even apologise or make me feel at least acknowledged.Definitely a horrible experience

This store is a joke, the prices on shelf says a lower price then when u go to till all the items on offer were full price , didn't realise u til I got home as brought alot. So they change the shelf price u think that's what ur paying when really ur paying full price . Thieves and scammers this store

They advertise 3 for 2 deals on many toys. However they don't tell you that 3 items all have to be from the same range even though the shelves are all together and clearly marked 3 for 2. It's not clear that you can't mix and match any 3 items. This is misrepresentation and false advertising.

We visited Ipswich Smyth's from a journey back from Essex we thought we would visit. We visited around 5pm and noticed some of the staff were just sitting around talking and one member of staff was on his private phone on a call sitting on the car seat which I found not very professional. My daughter wanted a DHL van toys and all the doors were broken and I told a staff member and he just was not bothered about it. The toys are a mess some chucked on the floor and especially the hot wheels section they were just off the shelf in a pile of mess. My local one is Norwich and they are more professional and more helpful and they respect there stock

Took my son here, he had a great time investigating the toys and deciding what he would like. We didn't feel rushed or pressured, there was good space in the aisles to move around other customers and see what we needed.

When something goes wrong, how a company deals with it tells you a lot about how much they really care. Smyths in Ipswich dealt with our complaint really well. They admitted they'd made a mistake and did everything to put it right. This meant my grand kids had their bikes and were really happy. I always shop at Smyths because I've got confidence in them .Thanks Smyths of Ipswich

My partner and I recently visited the Smyth's at the Anglian retail park, and asked for some assistance with buggies and car seats. We were very lucky to be assisted by Star who was such a lovely lady, really good costumer service, polite, helpful and informative so thank you very much.

We had an issue we weren?t sure we could resolve with a faulty baby monitor we purchased 6 months a go. We had lost the receipt but spoke to the amazing store manager Aled who helped us so much. Explained who to call so they could go back and email the receipt l, which we did. We went back to the store 20 minutes later and swapped it out for a new one, thanks again for making this easy!
