Poor customer service. I bought Game gift card by mistake instead of a Sports Direct gift card. Told by the store manager there is nothing they can do. Not good enough.

Picked up a couple of 10 pack mens socks that were advertised on the packets as £9 for 2 packs. The products ran through the tills at £11.50, which I paid, as the staff had allegedly mispriced the packs. However, I should have paid the advertised price as apparently that is the law which I only found out subsequently.Obviously it is not a lot of money to be overcharged but the principal of being conned applies.

Joke of a shop. "Sports" direct is nothing but the most basic sporting equipment and shelves upon shelves of clothes and shoes. Came to get a couple of basic tennis accessories and they have absolutely nothing. No alternative nearby to buy actual sporting products, and people wonder why everyone turns to Amazon.

The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and there are good prices on some things, particularly footwear. However be aware that they don't give refunds, only exchanges or credit notes, so don't take the thing home to try on if you've the slightest doubt.

Worst service, as a tourist went here, paid with my credit card, which was approved and printed a receipt that requires a signature. Hate this shop, the fact that you can't bring anything back and get a refund for a start. Today they were advertising 2 pairs of swimming shoes for £14.00....mix and match....when I went to pay I couldn't get the deal as one pair were mens, one pair were womens and another pair were childrens...when they say mix and match you have to buy the exact same ones.....this shop infuriates me. Last week I was nearly sold a pair of trainers that didn't match....one had gone yellow on the shop floor....so glad I did a double check....the guy serving knew they were faulty and wasn't going to say anything. I don't know why I shop here!

I went in to buy some trainers. Stood there for waiting for staff to help, tried to get staff members attention, was blanked, ingnored and walked away from 3 times in the space of 10 minutes. I left unhappy and without purchase. Bad customer service.
