Can't believe how popular this place is, we were lucky to get a table as early as 10:30. Superb tasting coffee and an exceedingly delicious cheese scone. I must make a return visit to sample the enormous sausage rolls.

I visited here Friday lunchtime and all the tables were full, the fact that a lot were reserved speaks volumes as to how popular this place is. There isn't a massive choice on the lunch menu but the food is delicious and good value. Good choice of drinks and a few farm shops nearby to look round after means this is the ideal place to grab something to eat and kill a few hours.Parking: Mostly on hard standing but some is on grass which may become muddy on a winters day.

Delicious food served quickly in a cosy spot with something for everyone. We enjoyed a puy lentil bowl, avocado toast with Pinney's smoked salmon and a beetroot & goat's cheese on Harvey + Co sourdough - all delicious!

I have been going to this cafe for years and it has always been a treat for me but I have changed my opinion since my last visit. I had a cheese and ham toastie. Usually this is lovely and tasty, thick ham slices and real cheese, not now though. The ham was cheap thin sliced and the cheese was horrible plastic cheese that doesn?t melt and horrible and stretchy. Whether it?s to save money or make even more profit on these already incredibly expensive toasties who knows, I only know I will not be going back for food.

Lovely cheese scone and accommodated some change requests to the published menu which was appreciated. Cosy atmosphere.

First trip and would definitely recommend. Friendly staff. The service was excellent and food was delicious. Even though it was quite busy this did not impact on the level of service. Lovely lady started cooking the minute we ordered and it was on the table minutes later. Loved the interior with mismatched, colourful furniture and quaint crockery. We will return.

The food and drink were very good , quite expensive but really good , the seating area is small and a little cramped , there is a strong draft if the door is left open ...need to add a small extension to help end this ... service was good

Unfortunately the kitchen was closed early due to staff shortages and the staff weren't that friendly but maybe that's due to the staff shortage. Coffee was good and the sausage roll that was available was tasty.

We have been lunching here for several months, and have thoroughly enjoyed the food and coffee, not to mention being made very welcome by the lovely staff. Today The Barn was very busy, but we still got a friendly welcome and excellent smiling service. The food isn?t fast food: it is carefully prepared, nicely presented and always tasty. The beetroot and goats cheese special is amazing, the mackerel pate is delicious, the soups are excellent and as for the savoury cream tea - couldn?t fault it!

Very good cafe food. Took some for the road. Can get quite busy. This farm is becoming a good destination for a visit. Great to have a wonder around the other establishments while you are here!
