Had to sort out closing an account today and the receptionist (Tan) was extremely helpful in sorting it as well as providing some very useful information. The welcome was very friendly and overall the experience was a positive one. There is a car park very nearby (only takes coins) so the position is also very convenient.

Consistent prompt and friendly service. Well located in Woodbridge.Let down slightly by the restricted opening hours that don't cater for those working full time.

Abysmal service. I think the agents name was Hilary. Took 1 hour to do a 10 minute task. Incredibly slow and totally incompetent yet with an air of arrogance. This place needs a big shake up. I am going to move my account elsewhere.

I have had several experiences with rudeness and terrible service with this bank. So much so that i?m contemplating moving banking elsewhere.Today; I wanted to pay some money in, and had walked my dog into town. A member of staff was outside assisting a lady and I asked her if she could kindly keep an eye on my dog whilst I nipped in. She said flat out said no, even though she was outside the entire time!!!I?ve also had experiences with a male member of staff, one time I watched him run outside to scream at someone who had parked their car near to the bank. Puffed out chest, walking around like a peacock.Customer service - none.Opening times - rubbish.Friendly staff - probably a few, but they are sadly drowned out by the rude, or downright arrogant members that Lloyds have employed.

Visiting Woodbridge today we discovered we hadn?t any cash for the car park. I left my husband at the car and called into Lloyds bank to ask for £5 in change for the meter. The lady asked if I had an account with them and when I said I didn?t she said she couldn?t help despite me explaining why I needed it. She could not have been more dismissive and unhelpful and ought to be ashamed.A local cafe on the other hand emptied their tips jar as they work on a card only basis. That?s the difference between great service and appalling service. Lloyds - read and learn.

I was in there yesterday and a man working there displayed a level of arrogance and rudeness that was shocking. To a member of the team who he told to move here car despite people queuing to see her and to a gentleman that had been waiting to see him - who was told to make an appointment. That chap left saying he was busy too! He interupted another person speaking to a customer, I didn't hear what that was about. Whoever he was he needed to be reminded that the purpose of the bank was to serve us - the customers. If he was the manager it is no wonder that he can't be bothered to tell customers of different opening times.

The adviser said initially she recognized me from my visits to the Ipswich branch ...then refused to witness/sign the DWP form I asked her to witness, as "she didn't know me". No wordsWhilst this charade was unfolding, I overheard another customer, who'd been waiting patiently for some time, being told she'd "have to make an appointment" to open a 2nd account, despite already being a long-standing customer.Extraordinarily abrupt, and deficient customer service skills. Made to feel unwelcome and an annoyance. They should take heed of their own notice as displayed in branch "if you can be nothing else, be kind".Nul points.Strange contrast with Ipswich branch, where despite long waits, the service has always been excellent.Having read other reviews, I was also refused entry with my dog last year, until the (acting) manager intervened and allowed me in. My business was urgent and important, registering a Power of Attorney.Baffled at curt and abrupt, unwelcoming attitude of staff (excepting said acting manager who was charming and very helpful). Will avoid in future.

Every time I look, the opening hours are reduced. And when I do visit, there is a long queue of elderly people who need help as they probably have little internet skill. You're abandoning a huge demographic. Shame on you!

My local branch is now only open on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm. Not helpful for people who work!
