I couldn?t agree more with other negative reviews! I was at front of queue when I realised I?d forgotten to put the address on my parcel? this was only because I tried to print out the label at home but Royal Mail wants the recipient?s email ( which I didn?t have)I?m amazed this wasn?t optional but never mind I thought I?d just go to our local PO. Anyway, I cycled home to sort out and left ( or so I thought) just enough time to get back to post. It was 12.26 and there was one woman in front of me. When she approached the man behind the counter gestured rudely and just shut the window and said closed! The woman was so upset. It?s bad enough when people in customer service shut exactly on time when customers are waiting however I can understand it at least but to shut early and be rude about it is unacceptable.

i have been sending parcels to this post office for more than a year now, parcels from my company every week that are done in the Franking machine. The manager, i think, asian old guy with glasses, has always been rude but I let it slide. I dont have anywhere to send stuff as I do not drive and this is the nearest to my place. He will always come at me as if Im doing him a huge favour which is not actually the thing, I only give the parcels and done. Today, i went at around 2pm, no other counter but him eveen though most times, id rather wait for any available counters than to go to him. when it was my turn he slaps the door and had a go at me again without me doing anything. i just said hi and gave him the parcels. I couldnt help myself anymore and said you shouldnt do that to your customer you know and everyone on the line nods to me as if they are agreeing. You see, I am a very jolly person, and it so upsetting to go to this post office knowing someone's gonna have a go at you. I dont have a choice but seriously how do you keep this person? if not, maybe talk to him and tell him things about customer service or counselling. For sure everyone of us have problems but he shouldnt take it out to his customers. if he's not happy with the job or salary, dont take it on us.

That old guy that seems to be the manager was so rude. Not very nice with customers. He had trouble with 2 customers in front of me and also had a go at me, telling himself that "am I speaking a different language?" -in a racist tone, the fact that he is also asian. I think it's him giving instructions is the main problem that's why people do not understand him. Stay away and don't do business with this establishment. I know we have to support local ones but this manner is not acceptable, what a shame this is our local post office.

Took in a package which I had measured at home and prepaid online that met the large letter dimensions. When went to send (proof of postage) clerk measured it and although easily fit within dimensions (length and width) because he was not willing to push it through (item was clothing that easily condensed in) he informed me not a large letter and said would need to post as small parcel. I indicated it fit though with a slight push however he was having none of it. When I asked what could be done he first consulted his colleague who then asked the manager. He could not even be bothered to come out and explain and simply sat behind a wall and counter proceeding to explain to the clerk's colleague who then informed me that I could post it in a post box and be charged a fine. When I asked how that would work the clerk tried to explain the charge would be the responsibility of the receiver (after again consulting with the manager) I said that would not work. In the end I had to ask if I could simply pay extra to send it. They said yes and proceeded to charge me a small package price (plus additional 20p over royal mail online price!). They did not know how I could get a refund on the already paid postage (I had to do this online when got home) The clerk then got me to cross out existing royal mail detail on label after he put on new sticker. Fortunately for them they are in a catchment area. Any other business with staff this poorly trained and a unhelpful manager with poor customer service skills would not survive. I will be using the actual sorting office down the road from now on where I can. Would not recommend unless you simply have no interaction with staff.

We were waiting in line for the post office for 15 minutes, then the manager came out shouting at us to leave as the store is getting too busy. When I challenged him to say but we had been here for 15 minutes, he got really aggressive. he shouted "Do you want us to close down for breaching Covid rules? Leave!"We told him that he was extremely rude and left the store and took our business elsewhere. We won't be going back ever again. He does not deserve to serve any customers at all.Shouldn't they be controlling the number of customers before they go in, instead of shouting at everyone who's already in?!

Congratulation to the rude man (introduced him as manager) refused send me my package becouse he doesn't want understand Rome is not Romania!, I was sending my package to Romania, and he told me I am the manager this is "private business" and he can do everything he wants! And after he gave my money back and refused to send me my package and he told me in a rude way go away congratulation you are hero!

Very dissatisfied went to send a parcel joined the line keeping on the stickers placed 2meters apart , to then be screamed at only 2 in the line and told to wait outside what o thought was disgusting there was an elderly couple in of which the lady in a wheelchair and they made them go out in the rain seriously I would rather go elsewhere than chertsey post office rude and in humane staff ????

Came here after discovering that the advertised opening hours were 22:00 on a Sunday. Arrived and found that the post office was closed and greeted by a unfriendly and unhelpful member of staff. Wasted my time coming here and will never come back! REVIEW YOUR OPENING HOURS ON GOOGLE AND HELP PEOPLE STOP WASTING THEIR TIME!

Always closed when you need it l, when using the front desk the shop staff doesn't seem to care about anything. Wrong address used many times, just a general sense of can't be bothered.
