It was a good day on the whole. But at the end of the day, once wet, they put a rule that you aren't allowed re-entry if you go to take the clothes bag from the car.Usually they use to give wrist bands to go and come, unfortunately a wrong day for us to get this rule.Too expensive, foe parents who don't do rides but just have to accompany the kids.

I thought Benidorm was a comedy based on cheap tourists going to Spain and never realised that it was based on an everyday visit to Thorpe Park.It started with entering the park. The young lady at the entrance did not manage our prepaid tickets very well. Neither did she manage the other guests. But after giving us some abuse and perhaps more time than we deserved, she eventually let us and the other guests with tickets on their phones into the park.It continued with random safety checks on every single raid we queued up for. No matter how short the wait was, it was possible to add 30 minutes while the attractions were test-run for the safety of us and the other guests. Very reassuring. The Whoppers were good but had to be paid in cash as Amex was not accepted. Neither did the machines tolerate more than one burger being ordered, so it took some time.I always feel safe when the real police are patrolling with a large number of officers. Good to know tax money is spent on helping out amusement parks owned by the Danish LEGO family. Who knows if someone might violate others' feelings and pronouns?Apart from this, the odd druggies vomiting and spitting randomly, way too loud music and many minutes of sunshine, we all agreed that it had been a fun day.Next time?Sol Pelicanos!Less surrealistic. Far less.

We stayed at the Shark cabins and I have to say I was more than impressed with the incredibly friendly staff, quality of services and what was on offer for the price point the cabins were clean, well stocked with tea/coffee and bottled water provided. Only downside to the cabins were the shower situation as the whole cabin became a steam room due to the poor ventilation leaving everything wet and then damp.Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range on offer including vegan options everything tasted great, cooked well and hot.Evening meal as shown in the pictures came to £50 which was with two alcoholic drinks so the price point there wasn?t extortionate with a DJ and a quiz which was alright. The theme park itself was well kept, clean but incredibly busy and even though we had fast track it really didn?t make much of a difference compared to other theme parks in the country with waits times varying from 30-60 minutes on some of the rides which put a downer on the experience. However the live actor rides were great a breath of fresh air and throughly enjoyed both the ghost train & the walking dead ride.Coasters were great when we eventually got on them though some of the fastest and especially the tallest in UK great stuff.

On Trustpilot this has a 1.7? out 5?.Look at reviews on there, not here.Where do I even begin? My recent visit to Thorpe Park on 23.04.2024 was nothing short of a nightmare. If I could rate it lower than one star, I would.Let's start with the queues. Endless lines snaked around the park, turning what should have been a thrilling day into a test of endurance. A 3-hour wait for the Colossus ride? Absolutely absurd. And don't even get me started on the so-called "technical delays." Waiting for an hour due to technical issues, only to be stranded mid-ride not once, but twice? That's not just inconvenient, it's downright dangerous.Speaking of safety, let's talk about the malfunctioning safety mechanisms. Stuck on a ride in the pouring rain, with no way to escape, while my family desperately needed to use the restroom? That's a recipe for disaster. And to add insult to injury, other visitors were also expressing their concerns about safety and choosing to abandon the queues altogether. If that doesn't scream "red flag," I don't know what does. But wait, it gets worse. Despite my valid reasons for requesting a refund, Thorpe Park's customer service team has been shockingly dismissive. They claim my concerns aren't justified, even though their own terms and conditions clearly state otherwise. It's like they're living in a parallel universe where customer satisfaction doesn't matter. In summary, my experience at Thorpe Park was an utter disaster from start to finish. If you enjoy wasting hours in queues, risking your safety on malfunctioning rides, and dealing with incompetent customer service, then by all means, visit Thorpe Park. But if you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this amusement park at all costs.Thorpe Park, you've truly outdone yourselves in disappointment. Conclusion:Thorpe Park, once a beacon of fun and excitement, has now become a cautionary tale of everything that can go wrong in an amusement park. Save yourself the trouble and find entertainment elsewhere.

My son was told he couldn't have a exit entry pass because he had not booked to get it.Although he had all the paperwork. He has Autism. He heard a comment from a staff member who was talking to a lady who had a blue badge and was obviously struggling with mobility issues.Apparently she didn't look disabled enough.SHOCKING NOT A PLACE TO VISIT.We will be seeking advice about Merlin groups policy to disabled users.

Fantastic day spent at Thorpe Park. Amazing rides for thrill seekers. It is well maintained and the staff is good. The only bad thing is the waiting time in queue. You wait on average 45 minutes for the most rides. I visited on the weekend.

A place designed to rip you off from the moment you park to the moment you leave with the least amount of fun possible. Staff have their common sense and their humour surgically removed to be replaced with the arrogance and sense of importance of an SS officer. You can't, wear a go pro, every ride (even the tea cups) have rule sheet longer than a Space Shuttle checklist. I am surprised they didn't also warn you can perform open heart surgery just in case. Plus most stuff is run down. Save your money!

Busier than we thought it would be outside of school holidays in March so lots of queuing. Quite a few rides kept closing. What was disappointing was the lack of info about when they might reopen when you were in the queue for them. When you?ve invested 45 mins queuing for a ride and then they close it, it?s easy to stay queuing (along with many others) in the hope it?ll shortly reopen. Twice this didn?t happen so hours were wasted queuing for rides we never got on. If they had said it was likely to be a while we would have moved on.

BE AWARE!So apparently not all disabled guests are now accommodated for even if you have a merlin carers pass!I was refused a ride access pass despite having a ride access card and disabled badge. I booked this trip prior to getting my card but should have 'known' that I had to book a ride access pass for the day. It's not like it's a cheap trip either. I paid for accommodation and travel for 2 people as I need a carer with me. In addition to buying the merlin pass which is quite a chunk of money.Anyway, I was offered no support, no alternatives, no compensation, Nada. With the distance I've traveled and money wasted I thought I'd try and queue for one ride. I'm now in agony, struggling to walk, flaring up and generally feel like poop. Thanks alot thorpe park. Thanks for abiding by the equality act and treating me the same as your other disabled customers. Not!

Thorpe Park is an absolutely incredible theme park with an abundance of world-class thrill coasters and rides - perfect for adrenaline lovers! I visited on the first day of the 2024 season and was beyond impressed by how clean, fresh and colourful everything looked. All the toilet facilities were spotless and have been completely refurbished for this year and there have been many, many enhancements around the park which make Thorpe Park feel like a different theme park all together. I love the new logo and branding as well. The staff were absolutely wonderful and even though at some points throughout the day the weather was poor and rides had to close, the staff were brilliant at communicating this and gave us a free fast track pass to come back later and even activated their return guarantee which allows us to come back for free later in the year - they really went above and beyond to achieve phenomenal customer service. Definitely recommend visiting Thorpe Park especially later when Hyperia opens!

I went with my bestfriend and boyfriend, it was extremely fun and exciting ,especially the "Saw" ride, waiting time for the rides was between 40-95 min, depending on the ride. However, me amd my boyfriend went and had food at the taco restaurant in thorpe park, for theme park food it was good. The real problem was with the staff at the restaurant,it had looked like there was a new girl at the till, she was given no support at all and it seemed as if they haven't taught her anything before her handling customers. It had taken my order, a beef burito,1 hour to arrive, and not only me but my boyfriend's and three other customers orders. It had ruined the rest of my day and has genuinely placed me in a bad mood.

Awful experience. I have a disability that I have had to prove in order to gain a ride access pass so I can use the disabled queues. However, as they have given these ride access passes out like cookies, too many people are using them. Thorpe park have decided to resolve this by making disabled people book to be able to use their disability pass. They claim they sent out emails (which they did not) informing people of this. As I have not had issues before I did not look at the website as if I did I would have booked. Therefore, they are turning away disabled people trying to use the disability service which is discriminatory and disgusting.I will be going to trading standards over this as they are refusing to give me a refund despite not being able to go on any rides due to my disability and being unable to use the disabled queue. Really disgusting.
