I got to the hotel late at night, if you were viewing the hotel entrance from ground level you won't see it as it looks like an entrance to an apartment block. The sign is high up obscured by the glass awning. On arriving to reception I was greeted by a friendly clerk, he checked me in and gave me a door key. I got to the door and tried the key to open the door on several attempts it failed so I had to trek back down. I spoke to the clerk and told him what had happened, he took the key and left me at reception. He came back down a few minutes later and said the door or the lock mechanism was jammed that why it wouldn't open. He then gave me the original room he had written down for me and apologised for the inconvenience. The room was clean couldn't fault it.I stayed for two nights, my second night wasn't so pleasant. I was woken up three minutes before midnight, to a loud bang and shouting on the same floor. There was an argument in one of the rooms, profanity and furniture being thrown across the room, people leaving the room with loud bangs when shutting or slamming the door, this lasted 20-25 minutes. I didn't dare exit my room to check, one is my room was the last room on the corridor if the altercation was to spill into the corridor I would of been trapped. If I had to get to the stairs or lift I had to walk all the way round to get to the exiting points. Two, the person that was shouting was very aggressive and did not wish to put myself in harms way or in a worser position. In the morning when I checked out I spoke to the morning clerk about the incident and the first she said was why didn't you come down about the complaint, I had no number to call the reception, there are no phones in the room and there was certainly no numbers for information in the room if I had problems. The only number is at reception that I had seen. Then to be told off like a child for not reporting it at the time, they could of evicted the guest that was staying but they couldn't do anything as it was too late now unless any other guest complains about the same incident, I was very annoyed. First of all the clerk wasn't thinking about the safety of the guest at all, especially a female guest in the middle of the night.Rooms: Tidy and clean.Safety: I stayed for two nights, my second night wasn't so pleasant. It's ok. Would only stay here because my sister lives right next door but even the single beds are like smaller then singles. Not comfortable. Not great service either but it's cheap and does ok for one nightWalkability: Train station a few door away

Rooms are clean, but if you live longer time they don't clean the room every day. Nobody asked, "Nothing. ".. No fridge in the room, ironing possibility, I haven't seen a bar or breakfast room.

Next to the train station, it is a hundred meters away from the bustling clock tower. Supermarkets, various shops and restaurants are only 100 meters away.

Next to train station so noisy. Expensive overnight parking. Basic boxed breakfast. Won't be coming back.

Good location in Epsom. Right next to the train station. This might worry you about noise especially in the morning but it was not noisy enough to wake me. The reception is on the first floor and you can take one of two lifts up to it. There was no one on the desk so you use the phone provided to contact a worker to come down and check you in. The room was the usual Travelodge experience. Nothing fancy but everything you need and a nice, comfy bed

The hotel has a wonderful position, a step away from the train station and the center. I found a very clean room (on the 5th floor occupied by a wonderful girl named ALINA) and with exactly everything you need for a pleasant stay. Thanks and I'll be back soon.Food & drinks: Nandos

Room kettle found dirty and salts formation at the kettle wall. Very compact. No proper record keeping not worth for the money paid. As per my company booking, it supposed to be with WiFi and breakfast included. But at the reception that too declined.Walkability: At the station approach

Stayed 3 nights in a double room. Excellent location in the heart of Epsom next to the railway station, staff were professional, friendly and capable, breakfast box was disappointing, room too warm and noisy early morning with rail traffic.

Always a convenient place to stay when working in London and for visiting family but the price structure is awful, TL tell you to book in advance but when that isn't possible I had to pay £100 more for the same room booked for the following week only for TL to reduce the price by £50 the day of arrival. Watch for the price changes you could find yourself paying over the odds!

The hotel is one of the worst I've stayed in. The rooms are really hot. So i can't get to sleep. When having a shower the water runs on the floor so basically stood in dirty water while you brush your teeth. And to top it off you get a breakfast in a box that I wouldn't give to a

I work away from home continuously and it?s not always possible to get a good nights sleep. The hotel was quiet and the staff were all very polite and very helpful. For a budget hotel it is really well kept and exceptionally clean
