This place is almost unstaffed. It?s rare to see anyone on an actual till - I don?t know why they have so many ?!The ?help desk? (I use the term loosely) is the only place to purchase items and consequently there is often a queue ?The younger staff are completely disinterested in being there and two weeks ago I was served by an older woman on an actual till who was so miserable and opinionated she would?ve been better placed out of sight and away from the public entirely !This store is miserable, generally unhelpful, poorly staffed and a pretty negative place to shop at.Don?t bother.

Terrible service. I purchased some paint from this store and when choosing the paint half of them had been opened so I chose one at the back. As soon as I took it out the handle snapped smashing the paint all over myself. The employees proceeded to laugh and swear about the situation blaming it totally on myself.

Hardly any staff anymore, one person on the desk.Other branches (smaller insize) have more staff.Long wait times to pay, had to hunt around to get something unlocked from the shelf which didn't help.

I got a parking ticket , after 2 hours staying in store looking for Gardening stuff. , 70 pounds. No sigh on door how long you can shop without penalty. Be aware, parking plot owned by a private group, who cannot wait to charge you. Store is partner in crime as they do not warning you about this. Disgusting.

Hello, so I went into homebase today on Sunday 24th of September 2023 to get some shelving! & The manager was extremely rude & unprofessional! He couldn't be bothered to help nor point me in the right direction! Also, there aren't many staff members on the shop floor either! If you're looking for a good & decent homebase, i really wouldn't recommend godalming, as some of the managers & staff members are lazy & unprofessional! ?

Had more or less what we needed but opening hours have changed and are now a lot less than expected and a lot less useful for evening drop ins. Other night we were told to pick up our item a by 8pm and found out after we got there that the new opening hours mean it was shut at 7pm.

My closest homebase so I visit regularly. There is never enough staff on the tills or available in the shop. Was trying to find a staff member to unlock an item on display so I could purchase and had to give up. Have never once been satisfied shopping here.

You can get just about anything in this store. Lots of parking. Walking distance to Sainsbury and godalming high street.
