“The good things:Very convenient for the places we needed to visit.The staff were excellent.The bed was comfortable.Food was good and well presented.The niggles:The bathroom door would not close as the top hinge needs adjusting, and the extractor fans didn't seem to be working.The table lamp looked as though it was ready to fall to bits - didn't dare touch it.The tables we used in the bar area had quite badly stained seating.The general appearance was quite shabby with numerous areas of paintwork needing touching up.Walkability: Godalming town centre is within easy walking distance.Food & drinks: The food we had was excellent.”

“Excellent pub tucked away just off the A3. Amazing food and the beer from the local Tilford Brewery in Farnham was exceptional. The kids were happy and so were we. Friendly atmosphere. We look forward to going again when the weather is nicer and sitting out by the river.”

“Godalming Premier Inn was a perfect location from which to start and finish a MTB tour of the North Downs. We arrived on Sunday morning, having agreed that we could leave our cars at the hotel, returning to stay overnight on Tuesday. Without this, our trip wouldn't have been possible. Rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit a little warm, and evening meals and breakfast were excellent. The hotel bar did close at 10pm, which we felt was a bit early.”
