Lovely little 9-holer.

A nice course ruined by poor maintenance. Be very careful playing out of the bunkers at this course. They?re full of rocks and as a result, I put a nice big chip in one of my irons. One to avoid in it?s current state!

Nice course but greens not in awful condition which for summer golf is not good enough. Also over booked. Booked for 9:37 and didn't start until after 10:00. They don't seem to allow slots for the people playing 18 for the second 9. Shame and put me off playing other Altonwood courses.

Greens and fairways are looking good.

A good course and a few challenging holes . The third requires a good tee shot, or you?ll be playing with the ball on a slope for the rest of the hole.Generally in great condition considering the wet winter we are having . Green also well maintained and pitch marks are on the main repaired. A pretty course which is often missing from 9 hole courses. A pity there is no club house , but always a plus if the small coffee bar is open . Good bacon sandwiches too if they are open.Yep it?s a tad expensive but this also means there are usually tees available.Played throughout the winter and looking forward to playing with some sun!!

Relaxed atmosphere. Nice forgiving course. Very good greens. Good parking. No real clubhouse for food.

A great 9 hole course. Lots of challenging holes with long 500+ yards to the greens, sand bunkers and lakes to try and avoid. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.Only suggestion would be better signposting as to each hole from the tee. None of the usual info on distances etc and on a couple of holes it was not clear where the green you were aiming for actually was. Would recommend

A great 9 hole golf course with plenty of parking spots. You will need to pre book a round of golf.

Unfortunately not a great experience at Godstone. At £20 for 9 holes it?s quite expensive for what is 5 of the 9 greens were completely frozen over meaning every approach shot and chip bounced through the green. Annoyingly there was no warning of the condition on their website. The green have been spiked with a fork and are extremely bobbly. Again no mention of this when booking. The fairways are extremely muddy but I guess this is to be expected in January. We arrived on time for our tee only to find a very slow three ball on the 1st green ahead of us. Clearly the pro shop had not allowed for a gap, which resulted us in playing a very slow muddy and icy round. Won?t be playing here again, unless the course gets in touch with a refund, so far no reply to my email. Wild recommend northdowns which you can play a full 18 for less money!

Nice course, quite open and a bit up and down to keep it interesting. Plenty of bunkers and couple of lakes to test you but overall very enjoyable. Not much of a clubhouse but enough to get you out on the course. Easy access from M25.

Nice 9 hole parkland course just outside of Goldstone. Good use of the land which is a bit hilly with side hill holes and ponds to add to the difficulty. Fairways a bit bare in places which should improve once the weather gets better. Enjoyable without being too testing. No clubhouse just a coffee kiosk and picnic tables.
