Big department store with plenty of designer brands available at good prices. It's a shame that the store will be closing down, I have been visiting this store since 1997, I will miss it.

Sadly yet another A&N store that is being closed for good. Currently (AUG 2023) there is a clearance sale in progress and the store will be gone in a few more weeks. Plenty of great deals if you want suitcases. I grew up nearby and remember the old store which was 2 joined buildings with a passageway through at street level, connecting the High Street and North Street, and the wonderful roof garden. The present building offers some great views from the escalator area as you get to the top floors. Commiserations to all the staff. I don't often get to Guildford town centre these days and it's sad to see yet another victim in the High Street

It's a shame to see it go and a further shame to see so many out of a job again. The staff are friendly, the store massive and the memories there all to clear when you visit.

Bought couple of items online as they were not available in our local store. Paid over £60 pounds for the items and no free delivery option, even to have it delivered to the local store for collection was £4.99.Still went ahead and paid for home delivery, when received, one of the items was such a low quality that we did not wanted to keep. could not take it to our local store as its was bought online - and the return process is another £4.99.Most other companies, either give you free delivery if you are spending £50 or will give you a free option to collect from one of their stores, also free on returns.I also find the quality on branded clothes from HoF are not the same as before, its either the 'throwaway culture' or just "SportsDirect" quality.Very sad to see that the only departmental store left in Guildford has gone downhill.***Going to include my in store experience: Bought few Perfume/EDT bottles from HoF (Circa £200) and checked if they have any samples. (Most perfume shops offers you samples, these are FREE from the manufactures to give to customers.) Yet every time I have been in and bought perfume, I have been told 'we ran out'.

Very nice House of Fraser Store, I picked up a couple of nice bargains in the sale too.We had Afternoon Cake in Tea in the Terrace Restaurant too, which was very nice.

This is the worst store in the uk to buy . REMEMBER THAT THEY DONT DO REFUNDS OF PRODUCTS PURCHASE IN STORE . I don?t know how is on line . I bought a product and then I didn?t need it . It was unused, original packaging, everything in order, but they said that the product it wasn?t faulty so their policy is to not do refunds unless that the product is faulty, they do only exchange or credit note . Nobody told me this when I did my purchase and I never imagine that it was like this.The product was a concealer from Yves saint Laurent . When I tried in store in the YSL counter I thought it was going to work for me, so I purchased it . On the way home I notice that it gave me allergy so I thought I can return it . I thought it is good that I tried it in store and now I know that is not good for me , I didn?t open the product ? so I thought I can return it . WELL THEY DID NOT DO THE REFUND AND NOW I HAVE A CREDIT NOTE THAT I DONT WANT TO AS I WILL NEVER BUY IN THIS STORE AGAIN Never . Awful customer service . I bought it in Guilford store .

Very underwhelming. Clothes looked like they were in a jumble sale. Scruffy and creased. We left without buying a single item. Staff seemed not to care. No going again

Both some perfume for valentines day. Some of the staff were rude but then some lady found me and helped me with everything in a really elegant way. I hope she can help you next time. On the last floor they opened a game shop for gamers and a lot of toys. And they have slushy now Recommended
