I think some of the recent reviews have been slightly unfair.. I went into the store last week and had a superb experience. Fast, efficient and sorted me out with a exactly what I was looking for.

Please report this store to head office. The staff in this branch were extremely unhelpful and gave the impression they didn't want to be there or help customers.

I went into Guildford store for a mobile upgrade and a member of the store staff was extremely rude and raised a voice on me. As soon as I entered in the store, a member of staff asked me why I am here? I asked that I need to upgrade my phone. He asked in an arrogant manner, what? Showing me such an unpleasant and bad impression on his face, What phone? I told him, that I am looking to upgrade with Samsung S21ultra. Then he asked me in an unpleasant and unprofessional way what is your name? I told him my name. What is your phone number? I told him that I don`t want to give you my number on the shop floor in front of others customer. Then he told, I don`t like your attitudes. I asked him, what's wrong with my attitudes? I just don`t feel comfortable to giving you my details near the main entrance and in front of others. Then he started to argue with me and told me that I refuse to serve you. I asked if I can speak to the store manager. Store manager was standing just 2 feet's away from us. Before I start talk to him, he started to defending his colleagues. He started shouting at me. The both members of staff started to argue and shouted at me. I asked them, why you are both going on me? I asked them, please don`t shout and listen to me. I don`t wanted to give you my details front of others customer. I was so surprised by the store manager`s behaviours and attitudes. I asked him if he can give me his area manager`s phone. He refused to give me so. When I went to see a lady on the till, she took on her desk. After taking my details, she has given me an expensive deal despite what she has given a day before. Before leaving the desk, I requested to the lady, please log off my detail from your computer but she did not answer me. Later I received a call from a number....... I am worried about my details, might they are going to compromise with my details. There is an absolutely ridiculous team at o2 Guildford Store. I never again go back and decided to leave o2 mobile service. Paying money to o2 to get insulted and humiliated in front of others customer by their members of staff. It's totally wrong. They are going to lose their business very soon if they are going to treat their customer in such hostile behaviours.

The staff seem to be employed mainly to dissuade customers from actually asking them anything or serving us in any way. Hopefully I will get in better from the o2 website and buy my new phone there. Abysmal service.

Very empty store and told would have a waiting time of 5-10mins yet took over 50minutes to see to us. Staff member prioritised standing in a empty store waiting to greet people coming in instead of simply passing the store phone to receive a PAC number. Once a different staff member helped she was helpful. Overall, glad not going to have to deal with O2 again!

I honestly don't understand how some people can be so moronic?
If a store is busy than how can they possibly answer the phone, whilst they are dealing with customers in the store? People complaining about this should honestly get a reality check and some common sense. I also think that the customer service reflects on how you treat them. Every time I go in they are nice to me because I'm not being an ass of a customer and I Understand that they are there to help you not to be blamed on shouted at. My phone is always being sorted when I need them to look into it.
