“Would be five, if I hadn't discovered a punnet of cherries, that had been added into my shopping. Didn't want them, never touched any in shop, and wouldn't have wanted to pay for them!THE receipts they produce, are useless, as it does not state individual items.... And that's of they even give you one.Eggs 50p cheaper, same size, in other butchers, along aldershot Road.Deffo a bit pricey, but stuff better than supermarkets and g Town Market, but thats in keeping with the parade of shops' prices too.”

“The choices are impressive together with prices that beat most other stores. Their own breakfast cereals knock spots off the top brands in taste and price. Need more of these stores locally.”

“Alex, Josh and the rest of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my girlfriend and I left the store with a smile on our faces. They overheard that it was her birthday and presented her with a lovely gift at the door. The staff are a real credit to the Waitrose brand. We look forward to our next visit.”

“Good local store with basic range of products. Convenient for buying a few items but the higher prices for most things and lack of the range of goods of a full supermarket means the big shop of the week won't be happening here.”

“Nestled at the top of Guildford high street, this site welcomes the visitor with a smattering of lost youths idly browsing their mobile phones, posed like statues around the entrance. On entering, one discovers the vegetables, always one type of vegetable conspicuously absent, as though the farmers, one vegetable at a time, go on strike in protest at harsh contractual conditions. This shop is too big to be a little local, but to small to be a supermarket. It is an OK-market, a whatever-market. All the customers look slightly lost, on the way home, but not home yet, ready to slump on the sofa, if they can only make it up the last piece of hill, past the estate agents, and in through the front door, orange bags rustling all the way to the kitchen counter.”

“Sainsburys in Stoughton, Guildford is a great local convenience store with very well stocked items and friendly members of staff always willing to help especially Marrissa who is very friendly and helpful. I still think the supermarkets take advantage of there customers on the pricing of items for example a packet of crisps £3.30 but this is down to the companies being greedy and making huge profits and not down to the staff working in the shops.”

“Great place for clothing men women kids and school uniform n shoes. I like their fragrance and skin care section. I sometimes only visit the food section downstairs. The food section has good quality bakery items and fresh fruits. There is also a little home section next to the food area. Overall, a decent place to visit for good quality clothing and food section.”

“A useful petrol station and Little Waitrose. Some ready meals, small wine and beer selection, and crisps and snacks stocked - all of the slightly fancier degree that you'd probably expect of a Waitrose.Petrol prices are also on a par or lower with other stations I've seen in the area.”

“Hit and miss.... had some experiences of really great customer service but also had some very bad customer service from some very rude staff. Usually stocked very well and can find everything I need.”

“This is surely the best selection and the longest opening hours, 07.30 to 20.30 weekdays, slight variations Saturday and Sunday. Disappointing range which is food based, very limited choice of stationery and toiletries.”

“Had trouble at self service as did the "helper" but got it sorted. I asked a question and the helper didn't know the answer and therefore went and asked a co worker who was able to help. Thanks and will go there again.”

“It's a nice little store. Very convenient after driving for a few hours from the airport and great for a few snacks. The customer service was really good, and the two men were polite. They had sold out of eggs but i guess that was reasonable as it was 11pm at a busy service station and the staff were really nice about it. It's a little overpriced but worth it for the convenience:)”
