Grocery Stores in Virginia Water, Surrey

“Over the last four months I have visited this store quite a few times.It's run by a lovely family and each and every time without exception. I'm greeted with a good morning, good afternoon. How are you?A good range for a small convenience store. What inspired me to write this post happened the other day. In the world that it is easier to criticise people.On my way to the store the main road had been closed with a diversion. I didn't realise the diversion tripled the length of my trip. I entered the store moaning to a young man behind the counter about the road closure. I asked if that was affecting their business?He replied " yes it is somewhat but these things have to be done"" We really appreciate you coming in today even with the road closure"I forgot that I was moaning about being diverted the long way around.My moaning was replaced with a big smile on my face at his comments.Outstanding customer service.I didn't catch the young man's name but I think it was the owner's son.That's why I will carry on supporting this independently owned small convenience store.Shop local ?”

“Your average corner shop style mini supermarket, sells most items. Extremely overpriced but then given the sort of idiots that live in Virginia Water, you can’t really blame them for bumping up the prices.”
