- A nice branch of Paul.- Staff members are generally very kind.- You get what you expect from Paul in a positive way.- The quality of coffee could vary slightly from barista to barista, but it seems to have settled down recently.- It is convenient to use the app as well.- This is also a good place for ?too good to go? as they are generous in giving bread and pastries.

I think this will be my last visit to PAUL in Kingston. The food tempts me in but the staff are so offhand. I have been here at least 3 times in the last couple of months and have never seen the same member of staff. As I have been there on my own, I also observe the staff dealing with other customers. The fruit tart today felt that it might have dried out from being on display, however the fruit and the creme patisserie was gorgeous.

Nothing to complain with the quality. At good location to take a break in the town center.

Fantastic little branch. Excellent almond croissant with sweet and tasty pastry cream inside. Must try if in this area.

I am giving it 1 as yes they have nice cakes if you have plenty of money.Seriously over priced it's beyond ridiculous, plus an extra £1.50 to have in on each item!I had coffee and a croissant it was OK nothing outstanding or better than anywhere else. What beat anywhere else I have eaten in Kingston is the filthy seating in here- I have taken a picture in the prompt for them to seriously consider shutting for a day and doing a specilist deep clean. I seriously have never seen seats like it!Get a loan out before you visit!

I was quite unhappy with my last visit. The hygiene of this place is very worrying. Dirty spoons and forks with leftover food still sticking to them, dirty chairs and very dirty floor. To be honest, I didn?t even want to have my food anymore because of what I was seeing (what does it say about the cleanliness in the kitchen??). This place have certainly changed, and not to the benefit of a customer.

Overall experience is 5 stars, food, drinks, service all very good. One misgiving, someyhing not much can be done on this site, is the size of the seating area... Too limited. But what my overall score outs it down to 3 stars is the price. It is lovely food but it feels too expensive to make my visit a special occasion only and not longer a regular visit.

Popped in for lunch - coffee was half decent, but the sandwich was made with zero love! Bagette with brie cheese. Not a spread of butter or mayonnaise and soooo dry it was like it had sat there for a week. The cheese didn't even have that wonderful creamy texture you expect from it. I was really disappointed as the cafe itself was lovely place to sit.
Sorry - won't be recommending or returning.

I wish i could call this a cappuccino...and you want to charge 3.70£ for it ?Train your staff properly because today you just lost a regular customer.

I was really looking forward to having a light lunch at Paul with my husband as I have always loved the food and drink selection from Paul. On first impression as very disappointed with the cleanliness and hygiene of the place. Opening the door the handle was very sticky. Being disabled I had my wheelchair. The space was very tight and no offer of assistance to find a table, there were a couple of customers but the staff decided to huddle for a conversation while I struggled to stand and order. There was limited choice of food compared to other locations. The tables were also sticky and not wiped down. I asked to use the toilet to wash my hands and the soap dispenser did not work which seems to be ongoing as someone has written a note to the staff on the hand dryer, the floor was soaked. The customer seating area and floors were disgusting. Not one table was cleaned or wiped down while we were there over 40 minutes. I enjoyed the mocha but my husband choose not to eat and just have a coffee. The croque Monsieur was dry and we not up to the usual quality or standard. I will not be coming back to this Paul again. The standards and quality have dropped, I hope it is not the same for other Paul locations.

I was walking in Kingston and saw this really cute cafe it reminded me of Paris. We walked in and you could just smell the fresh baguettes. We were so excited everything looked so nice. All the pastries were lined up and they even had ready made sandwiches that looked delicious. We ordered tea and two food items because we were starving. We got the apricot tart it was literally amazing and a mozzarella sandwich. We really enjoyed the place.

The coffee we had was Fantastic, its a great little shop with yummy food and cozy seating. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its a small shop so there is limited seating inside, and it fills up very quickly. So best get there early if you want to sit inside.
