I know it's only a travelodge, but it's pretty grim! Huge, under-furnished and very cold room (with no extra blankets in the room). All very tired / austere. Friendly staff, though ??

Very noisy from room above until 11.30pm. prob young children jumping about. My room vibrating. Rang reception and the noise quietened for 15 minutes. Would never stay there again.Rooms: Window didn't close. Washbasin didn't drain. No water glass or equivalent. No hairdryer - available from reception but not ideal when you step out of the shower. My key stopped working. A disastrous stay.

Not good food on evening was over priced and cold I ordered pasta with spicy sausage paid extra for that that asked where the sausage was because I couldn?t see it was told it melted what a joke .stayed 2 nights asked for to be cleaned 2nd day out all day got back room had not been touched next went for breakfast nothing as staff had called in sick jokers the was dirty stains on carpet no fan stunk staff didn?t care be interesting to see if travelodge reply to my post I don?t think they will

Great location to where i needed to be, clean and quiet. Apart from a hello I didn't really see staff so can't comment on restaurant service. Room was clean and tidy and perfect size for having a dog with a crate with me. Was let down by been very hot, was provided with a fan but even so couldn't have my dog crated/ covered by the 3rd night as she was over heating. Due to been on the main dueled road couldn't keep the window open overnight. This wasn't in Summer so would dread to think what mid summer would be like. Bathroom; bath plughole so clotted with ? - Water filled the bath from the shower. Apart from that nice and hot and good pressure. Good carpark and reasonably priced and a little grassed area which was perfect for the dog.Safety: Well lit and felt safe when walking in the area at night.Duel road outside has the near lane marked for cycle lane so you are not next heavy large traffic.Walkability: Close by to a number of train stations into London.

Dirty, rude staff , I paid for hotel and I didnt have any service. Rooms are very below the standard ,dirty ,toilet needed a good update because are very old. Window can t be opened and when is too hot you can t have fresh air coming inside the room. Is no fan ,no air conditioning. They don t give you clean towels or clean sheets ,most are full of stain and the rooms are smelling. Staff in the reception have no clue of they job are rude with attitude dirty and one of the can t speak English. Manager seems no caring at all how this hotel.look bad . I will never go back there is bad and the location is depressing.

Room cleaning was non-existent during a one week stay. I think the rooms are only cleaned when a guest checks out. Hotel a bit run down but very friendly. Convenient location means we will be back, just hope they up the cleaning regime.

Room lack amenities such as : clothes iron, microwave and refrigerator. There is extra cost for Wi-Fi which is absolutely absurd in this technological age. There is no telephone in the room to contact reception

It was terrible. Took over an hour to serve me three chicken skewers on a wholefood salad. Had a large dog sat outside reception doors when I returned from work, not on a lead with a bloke on a phone (probably would have been quicker for me to score drugs from him that it was to get my salad). It was very intimidating. There are so many people living in the hotel (who I assume the Council can't house) whole families in small rooms it is distressing. I felt completely vulnerable as a single female. The outside is a disgrace, weeds everywhere with people sitting around on steps drinking beers and smoking weed (you can even smell it in the ground floor corridor). I will never stay here again nor would I ever advise anyone else on business to stay here, completely unprofessional hotel. The room I stayed in was supposed to be upgraded recently. Other than a coffee machine I didn't use it was more dated that the "old" rooms I stay in in Redhill Town Centre. There was old food on the desk, the remote control was worn out, the bathroom had rubbish in the plug hole the shower was less than useless. The bed was clean however, thankfully. The hotel is tired underfunded, has the wrong guests and is not a safe haven to stay. The staff do what they can but their level of customer service falls far short of that I have experienced at Redhill, lacking in any type of professionalism (one member of staff barely looked up from his phone whilst serving me a drink). Travelodge you seriously need to take note of my comments and act on them.

This hotel was very clean and the staff were lovely. They were very accommodating when I had some issues that needed resolved. Easy to check in & out. It was also easily accessible. It was quiet and the food was great.

Service & experience was substandard, with no shower gel in dispenser, noisy neighbors, poor food and breakfast only had water and no fruit juice left, considering the premium price this was poor value for money & will stick to Premier Inn in future.

the worst experience of my life in booking hotels. Hotel overbooked and were going to find me another hotel at 10pm at night. Said they had emailed me several times during the day which wasn't the case and no telephone messages left. Eventually found a room. No duvet in the room. No one on the reception in the morning to ask about breakfast. I did eventually buy breakfast only to find at 8.30am they had ran out of most of the food. Milk, bread and croissants not topped up and no explanation. Coffee and juice machine not working. Vending machine not working in reception. Hotels have a single purpose. Provide bead and breakfast. Travel Lodge, Whyteleafe failed at almost every level other the cleanness of the room.

Been here a lot . Usually come on Sundays because the staff member there is really polite and friendly (Gayán). Always looks after us and knows us by name. He is the reason why we always come here to stay. Gayan will always make sure we have everything we need and is a genuine asset for the travelodge hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.

Aweful stay. Bedroom stank of sweaty feet which they knew as they had the fan on and window open full blast. No it was not a heatwave. Dead moth on the pillow smudged in, giant spider on my sons pillow , and no duvet and no travel cot. Breakfast was shocking and cold. Reception staff good however was handing her notice as she was embarrassed to work there . My parents room had been double booked .. and apparently this is normal for travel lodge to double book rooms and send people to another hotel!!!

Would recommend this hotel big clean room friendly staff easy check in thank you to Kerry was a pleasure meeting you and spending time with you. you took care of all my needs during my stay will be returning soon
