Helpful and friendly staff. Although there is very little choice in this store, they never seem to have what you've gone in for or need. What they have is is vastly overpriced (20p-30p more per item than the supermarket). There is parking but people seem to prefer parking on the double yellow lines instead of the spaces.

A great place to catch Covid. Absolutely no attempt to enforce safe distancing or face coverings, the staff being amongst the worst offenders. Got eyes to the ceiling today when I asked the checkout woman to put her mask on before I would pass my unpackaged goods (loose vegetables, bread, etc.) across the counter. Please support independent shops if you can. They're not perfect at Covid precautions, but I at least have some sympathy - they can't afford to turn customers away, whereas Sainsburys are profiteering at the expense of our safety.

Excellent shop and it?s well located parking is sometimes a bit tricky tricky how ever apart from that they have everything you need.

Not very impressed with Sainsbury's Local in Kingfield.....no-one being made to adhere to the 2m rule. No manager on shop floor enforcing it or restricting number of customers entering. Bakery delivery guy being allowed to push crate up and down the aisles with no regard to his proximity to customers. All tills open so you are forced to stand less than a metre away from other customers and no screens to protect staff. One to avoid????

It's a sad evening today as I went to the store found they were just closing and the manager standing out stopped me from entering because they were closing and as I was about to go another lady came and he allowed her to enter just in my face and when I asked him he said she's only picking one item I asked can't I also pick one item he says what if you pick more and insists they are closed. I only told him it's sad and in my mind I don't know whether he understood what I meant.\\n1. Am putting on uniform and one of the frontliners in this covid situation and am here to buy stuff for an isolated person who leaves a mile away from the store and am avoiding them not to infect the customers meanwhile I haven't finished my work hoping I can pick these items drop them then continue with my work and it's 21:00pm.\\n2. I don't know whether I was not given a chance because am black?well it kept me puzzled but I chose to tell him it's sad hope he thinks about it over night.\\nAnyway the struggle continues, that won't stop me from from doing the good work am meant to do.\\nBut please sir, manager Sainsbury's kingfield, old woking branch that's not how people treat customers it's such a disappointment to the community.

Social distancing? You got to be kidding, there was well over 50 college kids in there, half without masks. The irony was the woman who looked like the Manager was nattering away to someone without a mask blocking a walkway and oblivious to what was happening around her!

I go there at least once a week and i love that fact that their opening hours are longer. However they often run out of stock and find empty shelves of meat and dairy. Other than that very convenient.

I have to say as I work in retail. The I assume the supervisor Jason needs to work on his game didn't even acknowledge me scanned items do you want a receipt that was it.. I work hard at customer care and he simply came across as arrogant who didn't give a damn . A simple hello how are you goes a long way . Not a positive image of the store

Expensive, limited choice, staff in the way stacking shelves, joking about, but not on tills or assisting annoying self scan which also can't cope with a bag for life so you have to scan all items loose then pack bag after paying which takes twice as long. Parking terrible and people ignore the double yellows or block access. If local, walk.

A nice new rotation of food would be good.. not the same old meals all the time.

Not great at dealing with queues. Want you to mostly go to self checkout instead of being served by a person. 7pm at night. Also customer service isn't great and prices are much higher then the big Sainsbury's, also the deals are different. Can't wait for coop to open in wych hill.
