To use their full name, TM Lewin & Sons is a clothing retailer based in the UK who mainly deal with dress shirts for men. In addition to being a retailer, they were also once a manufacturer when they first opened at the very end of the nineteenth century. In 1898, Thomas Mayes Lewin opened a shirt making shop in Jermyn Street in London. Not far off 100 years later in 1989, the second store was opened in Lime Street and they have continued to grow ever since.
Across the UK and Ireland, there are now 75 TM Lewin stores with half of these in London itself. Furthermore, they have a growing presence online. As mentioned, they did once manufacture their own clothing but this has since moved abroad. Despite this, they produce shirts, accessories, and even ties for many British public schools.
