Really really friendly. If they don't stock what you want, ask and they will try and source the product for you. A small shop but a huge choice of products. A true community orientated village shop.

Award winning local Post Office and village store, serving “The Boldons”. We stock a wide range of goods including fresh baked breads, newspapers, tobacco, wines and spirits. You will be surprised at what we stock and we pride ourselves on having most, if not all of what you need in our postage stamp size shop! We are also one of only a handful of newsagents still offering home newspaper delivery to the areas of West/East Boldon, The Cotswolds, Boldon Colliery and New Town. NB - COVID HOURS MEAN THE POST OFFICE COUNTER OPENS ONE HOUR AFTER SHOP OPENING HOURS. THE POST OFFICE. COUNTER IS CLOSED SUNDAYS.
