I have just completed my first two weeks of placement with Age UK Gateshead and can genuinely say I had the best experience. All of the staff and volunteers have hearts of gold and this is shown through their work as they go above and beyond for clients.
Set up in 1972, Age UK Gateshead is an independent local Charity. Together our team of staff and volunteers provide services or run activities for approximately 800 people per week. We provide services such as, information & advice, Dementia Day Centres, Day Centres, social groups, befriending, bereavement support and healthy lifestyle classes.
