Went yesterday to transfer money from my account to Lloyds after waiting in queue to be told I needed to go into another queue then told there are 4 people in front of you we will ring u when it?s your turn .What do they want me to do I came from Chester le st and then told me I had to pay to transfer my money to another bank as there is a limit of how much u can send . I am moving to another bank.

hi, there in the great internet .went to the bank today to pay in some money the stuff that makes the world go around and lo and behold the free not doing any thing said sorry we only do £2.000 transactions at this window you have to use the machines to put your money in ,i looked around at the empty bank and said has bank change .do customers no longer matter, in the end he said ( i do it this time but next time use the machine} does this mean my bank chargers will go down because i have now become a bank teller.

Horrendous service go in at 2.10pm to be told there?s 10 people in queue and I won?t get served before they close lol close all local branches and kept open the worst one, enough us enough 30 years been with Barclays and in 7 days all accounts will be closed and transferred. Attitude on woman a disgrace aswell

Unbelievably bad service from this branch. I've been a Barclays customer on and off for 50 years. Things going from bad to worse.

Thanks for not advertising that the counter service closes at 2:30!! A few customers walk in at 2:33 and told have to come back tomorrow as we can?t use the machines - cashing cheque and getting currency.

Place is hardly ever open. Machines which are troublesome instead of staff. Late opening, early closing and closed on Fridays.

UPDATE:Less staff, short hours (closed Fridays now) too much reliance on automation which breaks down.If you use cash, are elderly or disabled, you are stuffed. I can't use the machines but staff insist it's the ONLY option, other than online. How do you pay cash in, online?I need a cashier, not a machine.______Needs more staff but friendly service is standard. Like some banks, they are heading in to too much automation.

Open only 4 days a week.On those days it's only open for 4 or 5 hours.They may as well just be done with it, close all the branches and make us all pay for stuff with our retinas.
