Being French and having been to a few Decathlon stores in France I found the Gateshead store to be a good enough size , well organised. Loved the self service machines where you drop all your items and it calculates the price for you without having to scan anything. Brilliant ?

We have used decathlon on multiple occasions for things such as camping equipment, sporting goods and even for bikes for our kids.There are departments for all varieties of sports and it is very rare you leave without what you were looking for.
