I have a love / hate relationship with Holland and Barrett.I love the wide variety of stock, multi vitamins etc, and the staff who always seem to go above and beyond to see if need any help.What I hate is the pricing of the products and their ?special offers?. The products are usually really inflated in price and only comparable when there?s a ?special offer? on, which means I either go and get what I need or end up walking out empty handed not wishing to buy something for twice the price elsewhere.

Love the product and I would shop here more if the company didn't force the staff to pester customers. Just trying to pick some new tea and get approached 3 times, then once you're at till it's always a hard sell on signing up for a loyalty card. The staff in this shop are polite and do their jobs well so it would be nice if they were trusted enough to be a little less scripted and more authentic. I've never left an H&B shop in any location without feeling mildly harrassed, sometimes you just want to browse in peace and get served quickly

Appalling customer serviceI wanted to browse the store for a bit, and saw a few items with good deals so I grabbed them. They slipped out of my hands and landed at the feet of an Asian staff member, dressed in all black. I quickly picked them up but they fell again because it was too bulky. I was beside her and she literally just stood there, not bothering to offer me any help the entire time or offer a basket to carry the items. I could see that she saw the situation and didn't do anything.Also later when I asked about the price of a product that is out of stock online, she looked visibly annoyed as if I shouldn't have asked. Appalling how someone like this could be hired for a customer service position when there's plenty who would've done well just by having basic human decency.

I was shopping Tuesday afternoon and the girl was so rude and was pointing to me with finger , in away shouting at me when I was asking questions , she made me look stupid and so low , She was raising her voice as I don?t understand , I know I am foreign, but I do speak English, and no need to raise voice and shout and point with her finger to make me understand ?!!! that I was so scared , had to leave the shop . And would never return there again .I know I should have spoken to a top manger about this , but I was so scared that she would follow me outside and do something worse . But definitely I am going to write to the head office about this matter .

Customer service when I came in today was very poor. The other day the woman was lovely but today we were watched around the whole shop given dirty looks by the young Asian girl, and female with blonde hair was also watching us pretending to do stuff in the fridges?? The Asian girl served us, didn't smile once didn't say anything to us, I had to go around the counter to get my stuff myself cos she couldn't be bothered to push it forward, interfered into the conversation that me and my mum were having, then when she asked my mum for the card she was getting it out and then demanded it again but she could see she was getting it out.attitude problem or what. Not only that but when I told her to give her chance to get her card out this random manager I think it was comes over demanding us to leave the shop when we weren't the problem?? When we were walking out because we had already paid the Asian girl muttered something under her breathe. The state of her that was a so called manager was not fit to be a Manager of a health food shop, definitely not a good example. No patience, no consideration ,out right evil eyed all the way around the store.

Don't normally go in here but thought we would give it ago. The staff offer to help you from the moment you enter the shop. Even at the end when we was finished. The male shop staff member was very polite and talked to my mother instead of just dealing with me. As me mam is in a wheelchair you find most shops you go to. Tend to just deal with the carer. We'll this staff member was very nice and dealt with my mam and me.

Staff were rude and tried to over charge for a product that was clearly marked as a sale item in all stores and online. Dark haired lady clearly had no customer service skills.

Yes the opening times are wrong on Google, and I had to wait until after 10.00 as the manager started her staff training at 10.00. Not good customer experience.
