“The hotel has an amazing view of the quays and Newcastle including the millennium bridge very near by. This is a spacious hotel, our room was a corner one being extremely spacious with very large windows. This was excellent for both view and light. Check in was easy and welcoming, we arrived early and our room was ready so we were able to take up residence. Andrea the housekeeper was friendly , lovely and happy to pass on advice and information. The bar staff were polite and helpful. The manager was very knowledgeable about the city and allowed us to take his very interesting book on the history of Newcastle back to our room. The icing on the cake was the breakfast buffet full English and continental . Organic coffee on tap and very helpful staff. The only downside was that we were just booked in for one night as we were passing through. We will be back as we were totally blown away by the city, it’s people and the hotel experience”
