Will only go in to use the machines and even then will go to a PostOffice or Monument/grey st Branch.Staff are not co-operative at all here!Cashing in coins limited to 10 bags...Post office there is no limit.Trying to sort my late fathers estate....they keep moving the goal posts as they seem they couldnt be bothered. Went to monument/grey st branch. Sorted straight away.Wont even waste my time now in this branch. Seriously made me think of changing banks.

Located right next to Tesco extra, Gateshead. Had been here to open an account, the staff was very friendly and responsive. Helped me to submit the application online as well. If you're an international student and want to open an account, you could submit the account opening application online and can submit the proofs in person at the bank. Overall, a nice experience!

I have been a customer for nearly 50 years, with TSB which became Lloyds TSB and is now Lloyds. Today, 07/03/2022, I went to the branch in Gateshead to ask for help.The female assistant who was "meeting and greeting" customers at the entrance asked me if she could help. I asked if someone could sign and witness a copy of my marriage certificate. She immediately said NO, then asked what it was for. I replied that it was for Teachers' Pensions. She said NO more than once. She said Lloyds has a policy of not signing anything which is not connected to Lloyds. She said to ask a doctor. She turned away to speak to another customer. I left the branch in tears. My husband of nearly 50 years died 13 days ago. I am trying to deal with a lot of paperwork which includes his Teachers' pension.I am very disappointed with Lloyds Bank.
