My recently widowed mam had a problem with a tap that was supplied and fitted via her local plumber. The tap was less than 2 years old so she phoned the plumber who claimed the tap was out of warranty and told her she would have to buy a new tap and she would be charged for fitting it.My mam decided to look up the paper work and saw that the tap was a brand supplied exclusively by Wolseley so she took it upon herself to visit the local depot on the Team Valley Gateshead to enquire if the tap was still under warranty as her records said it came with a five year guarantee.The gentleman my mam spoke to at Team Valley was extremely helpful and he confirmed the tap was under warranty and he would immediately order her a replacement to collect the next day. Sure enough my mam went in the next day (16 Nov) and the gentleman greeted my mam with her name (and a friendly smile) and handed over a brand new replacement tap to her.Thank you very much to the Customer Service People at Wolseley Team Valley for your outstanding customer service. You really made a difference and helped my mam at an incredibly difficult time for her . Highly recommended. ?????
