This morning I called for an appointment for my son Aged 10 and after e-consult I got a call from Dr Singh and asked to bring my son to the surgery. Dr Singh was so kind and understanding and knew so well how to deal with a young boy with a private health issue and reassured him and myself. Thank you for your kindness. The lady on reception was also so kind and discreet when I had to take my son in to take a water sample x I appreciated the help and advice that she gave. I have been at the surgery for 25 years and have always had the best care. Thank you.

Where on earth do I start. My son is 14 years old. Moved to hebburn 2 years ago left a fantastic doctors to come to this absolute shocking surgery. Called doctors on 9 separate occasions over the course of a year and a half, my son never ever set foot in the place as can never ever get an appointment, that bad one time last year nearly begging to get an appointment but was refused and he ended up having a one week stay in hospital. Thankyou Victoria road!!!!! So here we go again, my son suffers from bad eczema that can sometimes result in a bad lumpy rash all over his body. So yesterday he started to get a rash on palms of hands and arms, naturally I called Victoria road as I should not be going to the hospital when we have a doctors here, said couldn?t do anything but could put him on the list for the ne t day, receptionist did say she would have a word with the doctor and asked me if I could take a call back, that call never came after keeping my phone free all day I called them back and asked them when I?d be receiving the call, I got told sorry she?s gone home for the day so no call. So thought ok wait till today as obviously they?ll be calling me. Nooooo why would they do that. So waited till midday and called them to be told there is no appointments at all for my son for at least a full week and even that would not be at that surgery. So basically a child with a rash is not at all a suitable candidate for an appointment I mean what has the world come to if doctors refuse to see a child with a rash, I don?t even know for sure if it?s linked to his eczema or something else. So apologies to the QE hospital as I?m now going to take him there as doctors don?t think children with rashes are important. So also we are told to call this doctors before 10am for a same day appointment we?ll that is totally pointless for anyone to do so as they don?t have any appointments free for the next week. I?ve never been close to begging for anything but on that call to these doctors I was practically begging for any appointment anyway just for my son ti be seen for 2 minutes. If a child with a rash is not a suitable candidate for an appointment then who is?? Now we going to sit for hours in accident an emergency for a rash how shocking is that to the doctor that put a ?no? whilst triaging my son!!!! PLEASE AVOID THIS DOCTORS AT ALL COSTS THEYD RATHER SEE HUMAN BEINGS SUFFER THAN SEE THEM. NO POINT TO THEM BEING THERE!!! ANY PARENTS WITH POORLY CHILDREN OR EVEN CONCERNS OF A RASH DO NOT RISK THEIR HEALTH AND EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THIS DISCUSTING SURGERY AND SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP. And Alison Tones ie surgery managers patronising comments back on here to all the patients are about as useless as that surgery being there.

Required a mental capacity form filled in on behalve of mother, as I need it for the courts to grant me deputyship of her finances. They refused on grounds, it would take 3 weeks to look at and another 28 days to get it back to me. I was told anybody at care home could fill it in, but gov web site says it has to be a professional either doctor or social worker. This was my mother's own doctor who is the doctor for the care home my mother is in and should have all relevant details. Now have to go through social services.

I have found this surgery to be brilliant! Their response if you need an urgent appointment is superb & Lorraine, the nurse is excellent at taking blood!

Being a doctor myself and working in the NHS, I know the type of pressure every GP is under, and I personally can't fault this practice. Receptionists have always been amazing and helpful, even if I was not able to get an appointment I have always been given appropriate advice and directed safely to whomever could help. Overall very satisfied :)

He may be one of the most tiresome general practitioners I have ever seen, I was once sick with a sore throat and the receptionist recommended the nearest pharmacy to me and said you can buy a throat spritz. and when I made a private visit they take me out with a throat infection. people don't know how to answer there, they have an animal culture

Went to reception to try and get an appointment or see a doctor for an ongoing problem I have with my shoulder. I was in a great deal of pain and had been down to shields hospital but as it was an old injury I was told I must see my GP first to get referred. Anyhow it was a no to see the doctor, 1 because there is never a doctor in & 2 because they are not a walk in centre. I did get a slip of paper with a phone number for a physio off the receptionist who with her years of medical school diagnosed my problem there on the spot, this was given back. Then had to fill in a online form to get an appointment as they will not do it shen you ask them 2. Anyhow managed to see a physio 2 days later who told me he would refer me to hospital. Got an appointment for the 6 Feb, over a month later, now I know that's not the fault of GM. Well I damaged my shoulder again last Friday and was in agony all weekend so filled the daft form in again to try and see the doctor, no luck. Ended up with an appointment to see the same physio yesterday who could not understand why I had been sent to him as he is only used to send people for referral. Shambles. PS, YOU DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR

Receive a text from the practice saying to contact them before 10am for a same day appointment. Filled in the online form at 7:30am for my 2 year old who?s unwell. Get a phone call at 1pm saying that the GP would like to see him in a weeks time. He?s unwell at the time of contact not a week later. Appointment would have only taken a few mins.Go to the hospital the next day for him then have to be admitted. This all could have been avoided if I got the right care needed.Victoria medical centre, you really need to clarify with your patients that contacting before 10am doesn?t mean you can get an appointment if you can?t offer it. Don?t text patients saying if you need an appointment to contact before 10am if you can live up to what you?re saying!!!

absolute shambles, haven?t got a clue what they are doing, wouldn?t see my 3 month old son, said he had colic, he had a serious infection which could of led to sepsis if hadn?t of been treated, we took him to hospital, spent a week there and recovered, he also had covid. Girlfriend was passed from pillow to post appointments cancelled continuously. Dr?s have attitudes and lie about what?s been said during appointments . would give 0 star if possible
