The staff are so friendly I kept going back (i think Janet), the staff get the 2nd star. Then unfortunately I had to change. I genuinely cannot remember a time when everything on my repeat prescription was ready to be dispensed. Every time there was a note of the items missing and to collect another time. I moved to the pharmacy Kepier pharmacy in Houghton next to the GP's surgery and friendly staff and every single time all of my prescription is ready to collect, or to be delivered if i need it to be. When I collect the longest wait has been under 2 to 3 minutes. In Hetton it once took nearly 30 minutes . I rang my boss saying in and out with GP then had to explain why it took so long to get 1 item filled on a prescription. The benefit of being right next to the surgery means unfortunately customer satisfaction isn't important. I drive so inconvenience was relatively manageable, for someone who uses public transport I feel truly sorry for them, or maybe they go elsewhere although further away no second visit required.

Prescriptions are never ready to collect despite being well past when they are supposed to be ready for collecting. Only pharmacy I've had to deal with that operates like this. They seem to operate on a we will sort out your prescription when you come in for it, leading to ridiculous waiting times, whereas if it was ready, you'd be in and out in no time.

Busy place used to capacity. Has its own pharmacy.
