Well located near the station for a tasty dinner before/after travelling.Service was friendly and quick, and the food was very generous for the price and most importantly was delicious!Dietary restrictions: Very good for gluten free

Not great. Took over an hour for our food to come, one alcoholic free beer on the menu. All beers came room temperature. Chicken strips were really dry and loads of hot sauce, beers and food items on the menu weren?t even available. Wouldn?t go back and was really disappointed.

First time visiting Coop as we chose this as it was near to our hotel and easy to get to. Staff were very friendly and helpful , they gave recomendations on the right level of spicy sauces. The food was amazing best chicken burger i have ever tasted. Would highly

Would recommend, good portions of food and ample variety of sauces. Ordered two different beers, both were warm. Service is good although is not very fast.

I went here two years ago (October 2021) and it was excellent. The chicken was moist and so spicy that I had to ask for milk. Service was great. But I went back here just the other day (October 2023) and things have changed. Service was totally lacking. We had to ask for the dessert menu and the bill. When I asked for a coca cola I got tea. Potentially my Northern Ireland accent was tricky to interpret but it wasn't double checked that what he wrote down and what we said was correct. Chicken was really dry and not as nice sauce wise as two years ago. Chips were just ok. The cookie dough dessert was great but a ridiculously large portion for one person. It was empty and had no atmosphere on a Thursday night and I suspect this is because it has changed. Sadly I can't recommend this restaurant and I don't think I'll be back.

Food was delicious. Massive portions, could barely get through what we ordered!Chicken salad needs a bit more salad, was very chicken heavy.Staff were friendly.

Really nice place, takes a good while for the food to arrive but that's because it is cooked fresh and is consequently delicious. The menu looked expensive but because the main course came with sides we ended up with a very good value meal for three. Lots of original sauces and seasonings. Really liked it, will come back.

Food is great, been here often. went yesterday and our food was running a bit late - the team let us know immediately and more than made up for it with some extra food and drink, and keeping us in the loop the whole time. Service was brilliant, treat customers really well.

Stopped in at the COOP Chicken House for dinner on a Wednesday night and was very impressed. I had the half Chicken with sides, the service was great and the food excellent. I will be sure to return next time I am in Newcastle

Went as a large group on a Saturday evening. The venue is fairly small so would recommend booking in advance. We had the "Just Feed Us" menu. All the food was really tasty, with a variety of levels of spice to suit all. Also really good value. Would definitely go again.

Would recommend this place on balance. Especially their whole rotisserie chicken which was reminiscent of a Portuguese Churrascaria.The chips were very good, and a very wide range of hot sauces to taste with it added good variety of flavour to those and the chicken.On the downsides, the beer wasn't that cold & the service was slow. I didn't have any but the fried chicken looked a tad dry.

We use to love COOP, but a few years ago we had a bad food experience that received no response from management and we stopped going there. Today, however, we decided to give it another try and I?m disappointed to say it?s gotten worse. I ordered the chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, corn and cookie dough all for delivery. The chicken tenders were the size of the fries and so over cooked I couldn?t bite through them, the fries were tasteless, the corn was burnt, and the cookie dough was a cooked cookie that crumbled into a million pieces when I picked it up. Maybe the experience is better in the restaurant but I'll unfortunately never be ordering COOP for delivery again.
